Hotel is dated with a problem smell in the mid part of hotel. Staff is very nice.

Located near our destination

Cons:

Noticed a sewage smell as we entered the hotel. The hotel must know about this since they have these fragrance sprayers located near the elevators. I noticed them spraying a couple of times and it's a strong spray that you can't miss. The fragrance is so strong that it seeps into the nearby rooms (one of which we were in). We didn't notice the sprayers at first but we did notice the overpowering fragrance. We thought we'd get used to it but didn't. We thought it would disipate during the day we were out of the room. We even kept the bathroom exhaust fan on all day which didn't help at all. Staff were very accommodating and moved us to another room further away from the sprayer which worked out fine. One other note. The TVs in the hotel are way out-of-date and need to be replaced. I'm not even sure you can buy Philips TVs anymore.

The location of the hotel was awesome, close to restaurants and the stores.

Cons:

I didn't like the sewer smell in the hallway and the room. Even the cleaning attendant agreed that the smell was horrible.

It was quiet

Cons:

The room smelled like Smoke 🚬 the Entrance from the Traffic Light could use more lighting. I noticed when I came in the light pole lights were out! These lights has been out for a while now. Even when we had our family Reunion here.

Comfortable and good value for money
Pros:

Breakfast was basic but sufficient, and it wasnt very busy, so choice of tables.
Coffee was available all day, and quite often cookies too.
Staff very friendly and beds very comfortable, and the Suite was a good size with plenty of stoarge
Plenty of parking and we even used the pool.... in October !

Cons:

The room could have been cleaner in certain places and the sofa bed was really uncomfortable due to a really thin mattress.
We have stayed here a few times, and we always talk about 2013, when there was a beautiful mural painted in the reception area, that depicted South Boundary and the Horses. It was unique and gave it a certain charm. This has now gone .
