Please be aware that Mercure Northampton no longer has a swimming pool and wet facilities. Please note that the card used to make the booking has to be presented upon check-in. Please be aware a maximum of two guest requiring assistance (due to any form of disability or impairments) is permitted at the hotel on any given night due to fire, life safety policies, relating to the safe and appropriate time required to facilitate evacuation. Any guests that will require assistance from the hotel team to safely evacuate the property in case of an emergency for an overnight stay must state this at booking stage. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to confirm if this is possible and the booking will not be guaranteed until actioned by the hotel and contact will be made to the guest from a front of house team member. Super comfortable bed. Very quiet. Room was a nice size and well appointed.
Only 1 key unusually yet there 2 of us. If 1 person went out with the key the lights stopped working!

Hotel was all generally good. Smoking area at front was poorly lit.
Booked hotel for room service, and tried ringing a few times, so ended up having to go down to order at bar - of which there was no one around, so had to find someone to help me.
Also, air-conditioning in room either didn't work or was difficult to see symbols in the dark location.

Car park was very busy and full, but there was a big corporate event happening, that I attended so not a major problem. Multi storey CP a couple of mins walk away
Friendly and helpful staff. The room was excellent as was the location of the hotel for its closeness to the town centre.
Room was clean and comfortable. Really good shower.
Parking is limited and is an additional cost.
