Please be aware that Mercure Northampton no longer has a swimming pool and wet facilities. Please note that the card used to make the booking has to be presented upon check-in. Had to struggle with the card to open my door
stayed here before, absolutely beautiful hotel and location. Friendly staff! Hopefully can try the breakfast next time
only thing I couldn’t do was get a later checkout but it wasn’t their fault at all.

Room table by TV had a layer of what I can only describe as gritty substance, not sure if crumbs or whatever, It was supposedly an upgrade room as I was on my own. Bathroom sink waste was blocked, so any time I used it, the sink filled up with water, which must therefore be contaminated by the waste pipe below. Sink was therefore of no use . But shower was fine.
