Horrible management. How could you assign rooms that already had people staying inside, or to have rooms that had no hot

The location.

Cons:

It took 4 attempts for the hotel staff to give us the right room. We were first assigned a keycard to a room that already had someone staying inside! Then, the second room assignment was also the wrong room assignment. The third room assignment had no hot water in the showers. It was extra frustrating as it was already 11:45 pm during a winter storm weekend. We were finally given a livable space by the fourth attempt. It was already past midnight by then.

Location WOULD have been good.

Cons:

We booked through Booking.com. I called a couple days before travel to confirm our stay. The day of travel, when it was apparent our flight from Denver to Grand Rapids was delayed due to weather, I called Holiday Inn Express - Grand Rapids Airport and was told it would not be a problem. When we arrived, the motel had allowed someone else to book our room and we had no room.

It was clean, well decorated. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good and the area was kept stocked and tidy.

Comfortable, quiet, convenient for us, friendly and helpful desk staff.
Pros:

Good food. The carafe labeled "hot water" had very recently been used for coffee and the water was hot- but brown.

Cons:

Please consider installing grab bars in the shower.
