Baymont by Wyndham Acworth

This is the most disgusting hotel and I will be contacting the better business bureau in reguards to their filth. My family attempted to stay here and when they entered the room “cleaning woman” had a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. The room was filthy. When trying to cancel due to the uncleanliness the woman at the front desk began arguing and yelling so badly that my children were hysterical. When attempting to leave 3 grown men approached CHILDREN AND 1 WOMAN and began to threaten their saftey due to the altercation. This place is disgusting and unsafe.

Obvious upgrade since the 2023 reviews. However, there was a homeless camp across & up the street. The lobby was always locked. There was no breakfast items and/or coffee, no coffee in the room. Linens were old & dingy, but clean. Language barrier at check out, had to request a receipt as one was not offered.

The towels were filthy and covered in stains after they claimed to "wash" them, stains on the comforter and sheets smelled musty. Bathrooms were dirty with urine around the toilet and i didnt feel comfortable showering with my shoes off so i kept them on. I opened a drawer and found old molded yogurt. The place is filthy just stay somewhere elese!!!!

Rooms smelled like smoke rejected the first one second not much better no breakfast as was advertised lobby was locked check in through an outside window do not stay there find another hotel

Non smoking room reeked of cigarettes, and the was a cockroach as soon as we go into the room.
Couldn’t get out of there fast enough!

There was no breakfast as advertised. Room smelled like mold. The air worked very well, kept the room nice and cold. The wet from the condenser leaked on the inside of the room. You have to use a tiny, unmarked window to check in. Maid was crabby and abrupt. No smiles to be found here. I won't waste my money here again, I'd rather sleep in my car. I am surprised Wyndham has their name anywhere around here.

We had been driving for over 14 hours, my husbands legs were swollen, it was late, and we needed somewhere to stay near where we were on the road. We are diamond members so we went into our Wyndham app entrusting the Wyndham name…this Baymont showed up and we booked it. I should’ve known when we pulled in that this was not going to end well…women walking barefoot down the road leading to the motel extremely high, prostitutes outside of their rooms trying to approach my husband and drug deals happening in the parking lot like it was no big thing. My husband went in to get our room. Again, his legs were swollen so when they were trying to give him a room on the second level he persisted on getting a room on the first level. The owner really didn’t want to give him a first floor room but eventually did… (us realizing afterwards that the first level seems to strictly be for the prostitutes)… once we opened the door my husband and daughter started gagging. The thick musty smell of chain smoking with the windows closed hit us hard. Thinking I could just grab our febreze, open the window and just deal with it I continued to scope out the room. Nothing was clean! I mean nothing!!! There was garbage on the edges and behind the beds and under the mattresses, hair everywhere, dust, dirt and liquid spills on every surface. Bodily excretions on the headboards and bedskirts, dead bugs on multiple surfaces and the floors. Went to check the bathroom and noticed an oily substance sitting on the surface of the toilet water so I went to flush it and the toilet didn’t work. My husband went to the front to request a different room. We got one but the owners wife was not happy at all about giving us a different room… on to the next room. Opened the door and the same cigarette smell hit us hard (mind you I’m a smoker) the ac barely worked, there were stickers and tape on the walls as well as boogers and multiple other substances. Dried puke on the bed skirt and carpet, same dirty dusty surfaces as other room, garbage behind end table and beds, hair on the pillows and sheets, blood stains on the blankets and sheets, toothpaste on the bed sham, the privacy latch on the door was missing and handprints on the mirrors…. Now to the bathroom… urine around the toilet, hair and pubic hair on the floor, in shower and on the towels. No shower curtain and a pathetic trickle from the shower head when the shower is turned on. By this point I just stopped looking around. This place is absolutely horrendous and UNSANITARY! I’ve stayed in some dumps before and just sucked it up but this is on an entirely different level! Oh… and they do not serve breakfast like they say they offer. You are unable to go into the lobby at all. Everything is through a window.

The room was full of flies and gnats. The toilet seat was broken. The shower did not work. The water was literally just a trickle. No trash can in the room . The refrigerator was not clean and freezer had frozen bottles of water that had been left there for quite some time. The air conditioning didn’t work. I feel like I should have been refunded. I will not be returning. If you book online you won’t be able to get a refund. Very disappointed.

Didn't even stay super shady place full of drugs and Prostitutes. Also staff tried to take us for more money than what we booked it for. Told us we could pay cash for 80 dollars or we could pay with card for 70 when we have booked it for 53. Lobby is not open either so know what that means no breakfast.

Some maintenance is needed on this property.

Room was very dirty, couch in room stained, bathroom dirty, it was disgusting. No Breakfast served of any kind. Furniture needs to be replaced. I would not recommend staying at this hotel at all. Check in is done outside even though there's a lobby

It was filthy There were holes in the walls. There were stains and smells on the furniture. The towels were dirty. It was worth nothing and there will be an argument about paying a nickel for this dump

There were bullet holes in the wall. The mattress was soaked in blood. Not like someone got a period or a cut. Like someone was shot. The room smelled of death. Everything was trashed. The locks were broken off the door. Property acted like they had no idea of the blood soaked room. Didn’t seem to care much.

This hotel was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. If we hadn't have traveled for so long that day and if we could have cancelled without losing our payment, we would have stayed somewhere else. Our non-smoking room stunk of cigarette smoke, even though we tried to air it out by keeping the door open for a while. The room was filthy! There were both living and dead bugs in the room. We kept our shoes on at all times and did not shower. There were no blankets on the bed, just the sheet and a thin bedspread full of cigarette burns. There was no breakfast available, even though it's listed on the website as an amenity (although we wouldn't have eaten here after seeing the hotel room). There isn't even a lobby to check-in; there was a window with a tiny slot to exchange paperwork and payment. The area seemed sketchy, and we really didn't feel safe here. If we had to do it again, we'd choose to sleep in our car instead.

If you aren’t from this area of Atlanta I would recommend visiting this location before you try to book a stay the rooms are over priced and beat down but the rates are sky high there is no breakfast and there is no Wi-Fi and hell good luck with finding parking

This hotel is horrible and should be shut down. It was dirty and unclean. It smelled like urine. The room was not at all acceptable. The windows were broken, the bathroom door was broken, the shower wasn’t clean, the shower curtain was moldy, it smelled like smoke even though it was non smoking room, there was food left in the fridge and the ac didn’t work well.
