Pros:

Hôtel bien situé au centre de la ville à proximité des restaurants et magasins.
Notre chambre donnait sur l'arrière d'un supermarché. On entendait donc les camions de livraison.
Notre salle de bain n'avait pas de rideaux ou volets. On pouvait donc nous voir du parking du centre commercial.
On a entendu un bruit la nuit en provenance de la climatisation pourtant celle-ci était stoppée.

A Complete & Utter Nightmare

When booked the impression of the hotel was very different. A big fancy building was the impression. We arrived via SatNav only to find the hotel on a seedy backstreet. I explained to the hotel staff that the hotel photographers were very different to the ones advertised. As we were in the underground carpark my phone had no signal, the staff member left us and went upstairs. When we arrived at the reception he was on the computer and appeared to be changing the photos on booking.com. I challenged this and was told it was impossible to change the photos on booking.com. The staff was becoming hostile and insistent that I was mistaken, as it was a local building “ despite it being their cover photo”, we were also told that we would have to pay for the hot tub, not the initial impression again. The hotel itself was dangerous as I explained to the hotel staff that the light fixtures were loose, I was shocked by the staff members reply who told me this was out of reach and would not affect us. The room was dirty and we were told the hotel was full. Only for we arrived late in the evening and needed secure parking and we’re staying thankfully one night we would have checked out immediately. I contacted booking.com who to date gave contacted the hotel several times without a response, see photos as evidence to back all the complaints made.

Très bonne étape le long de la Loire en vélo
Pros:

Localisé en plein centre de Saumur, hotel très accueillant avec des facilités pour les voyageurs a vélo comme nous. La piscine est petite mais appréciable pour la détente et l espace détente très sympa. La chambre est propre même si l espace est un peu restreint ce qui n est pas un soucis pour des vélo randonneurs. Le personnel est très accueillant et très à l écoute avec de bonnes recommandations de restaurant dans notre cas.

Garage sous l’hôtel avec prise de recharge électrique. Attention pour descendre au garage, l’entrée n’est pas très large.

Lovely hotel, in a perfect location. It was very hot when we stayed and our poor little car was melting, the staff kindly allowed us to park in the underground garage.
Clean, spacious room, didn’t use the pool as wasn’t there for that long, but would definitely come back

Receptionist was superb on arrival. The underground car park was extremely tight, but the Receptionist was very helpful and patient. The room was ready early. It was small, but very clean and had everything we needed.
