Fantastic hotel rooms, but location abit far off the tourist area.
Pros:

The hotel may seem dated, but the rooms were fantastic. Bed was comfy with 4 pillows. And did I mention the rooms are huge? It was easily 50m2 and the shower was fantastic. Good pressure with good heat. Staff at front desk was very polite and helpful at all times. There’s round the clock security at the lifts and they’ll even help you if you have many items.

Cons:

The location is far from any tourist attractions besides the SM Mall that is about 5-7 mins walk from the hotel. You’ll need to travel by taxi about 15mins to any attractions or Metro which is about 5 mins walk. The surrounding area & shops are abit too local to manage if you’re not a mandarin speaker. As for the breakfast spread, wasn’t 5 star but decent enough for a hearty breakfast.

Lovely staff, nice hotel
Pros:

The staff went out of their way to help me out when my Wechatpay wasn't working, helped me pay for my taxi and let me pay them back in cash later. I'm truly thankful. Also, the room was nice.

Cons:

The drain in the bathtub didn't fully close, so this ought to be looked at.

A solid hotel with good service
Pros:

First time to stay here. Check in was quick and smooth. The front of house staff were all helpful. They smiled and established eye contact. The room appears a bit dated, from an amenity and setup point it ticks all the boxes. It's functional.

The staff at the Hotel Lobby Bar was friendly and helpful. The lady who served the food was extremely kind and went out of her way with simple, small steps to go above and beyond. This is what great service is all about.

Even though this was a very short stay, I will definitely return again next time.
