Pros:

Excellent location and very friendly staff, pool view room also had views of the ocean.

Great place. Un trust worthy cleaners.

Great location and pool.

Cons:

We accidentally left some valuable clothes drying on the balcony. They were unable to find our items that was very social as my son represented Queensland in a state futsal competition and part of that was a special players kit.
It was definitely left on balcony to dry.

Cleaners would have stolen it. So upsetting.

The pool and location is great for a stay on the coast with kids.

Cons:

I did not like how my original accommodation room type booking was cancelled 30mins prior to check in without a reasonable explanation( owners wanted to use the property ?) and then they offered me a down grade in accommodation style for my 4 day stay or refund. We had to leave doors jammed open between adjoining rooms to accommodate everyone. Not easy with kids under 10. This is why I originally booked the 2 bedroom executive rooms which we always stay in.

The hotel is in a great location and has the facilities to allow you to work in your room, outside the pool, in the coffee shop upstairs, or across the road in the park. Very relaxing.

The perfect place to stay - especially if you're looking for low-rise.
Pros:

The location is ideal. Right in the centre of the main strip with shops, cafes and supermarkets all within walking distance. The pool in the centre of the facility is a great lay-out - it means you can look out onto the pool from your room and also gives clear view of the beach. The beach is a moment's walk across the road - with BBQs and playgrounds on the foreshore grassed area too.

Cons:

The apartment is a little dated, but that didn't bother us at all. The rooms are great sizes, the kitchen was functional and the balconies were also great.

Good place even though older resort as location great.

Location was the only good thing about this hotel.

Cons:

While the location is great, that is where the positives end. The room itself was filthy. There was visible mould in the bathrooms and showers, a strong, persistent mildew smell throughout, and bathroom vents that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in decades (photos attached).

The carpets were ripped and worn, dishes were dirty on arrival, and to top it off, there appeared to be cockroach droppings above the fridge where the kettle and toaster were stored. Completely unacceptable from a hygiene perspective.

This was not just “a bit outdated” it was genuinely unclean and poorly maintained. It made the stay uncomfortable and, frankly, quite off-putting.

We would absolutely not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others. Serious attention to cleanliness and basic upkeep is urgently needed.
