⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent stay with exceptional staff

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The facilities were excellent, the rooms were very clean, and the entire property was well maintained.

What truly made the stay special, though, was the staff. Everyone was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful.

I would especially like to mention a receptionist from Uruguay (I’m so sorry I don’t remember her name). She was absolutely exceptional — incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during my stay. Her positive attitude and willingness to help really made a difference.

It’s rare to find a team that is both professional and genuinely warm, and this hotel clearly has that.

I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with outstanding service.

Location perfect, checking & checkout good

Cons:

Internet a problem as passwords given were incorrect. When we followed up with operator she was extremely rude. Was supposed to be double room with sea view. We got 2 adjoining rooms that you needed a card to get between & the doors very hard to open. Felt like rooms in basement. Avoid adjoining rooms 115/117

Good but...
Pros:

The reception staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and patient. The location is fabulous and central to everything.

Cons:

My room location. It felt very isolated and too far from the lifts. I wish I knew ahead how far it was from the lifts so I could have a choice.
My room was dated and a number of things could be upgraded to better match the pricing.
The step over the high bath could be an issue to many people as it was slippery getting in when wet and it was quite a step to get down onto the floor. Old tap wear, chipped laminate and stains on bathroom cabinets. Peeling toilet seat which is unhygienic. The oven was very old which wasn't wiped over and was rusting.
The main room was very sparse and not welcoming at all. Certain rooms seem to be ageing in this lovely place that needs attention especially with pricing increases.
I piece of plastic ware. No water jug for the fridge for cold water.
