Cons:

The fact if I had my curtains open for my balcony the room next door could see straight into my room exposing my bed and also when you step out on the balcony there’s a window right there that goes into another room no privacy what so ever

Excellent but the place needs the presence of a senior manager as f&b staff needed direction

View close to the lake was exceptional as was the size of the room and housekeeping servicing

Cons:

The second bedroom at the back did not have its own air conditioning so unless we ran the lounge AC the room was hot even during low outside temperatures. I will come back to Queenstown but this was a big negative as we will come during summer and my teenage son would struggle with the heat of no dedicated Ac also a TV in the second room for the price would be good.
Casting on both TVs was also a challenge I think there is an issue. It worked and then stopped
A really bad issue we had was mid afternoon one day we were refused alcohol and the bar was closed as the only person with a license to serve alcohol was off sick. Totally unacceptable as we did not have dinner at the hotel that night as wondered if there would be any wine ! No sauna or bar up and running yet we were not told before we arrived

Manager gave 50% discount. Would go back again after refurbishments completed and niggles ironed out
Pros:

Lounge area was lovely. One glass of wine $29.00. Was not given a choice just poured and then charged an astronomical amount of money.

Cons:

View disappointing. Clearly under renovation, the toilet flushed all night. Lighting came on and off randomly

Relaxing, great views, very comfortable.
Pros:

Great views, nice balcony, comfortable beds. Access to everything we needed as a family of 4 with the full kitchen and two bathrooms and spacious lounge. Good location for everything we needed to do. Great selection of things supplied to us in the bathrooms. I loved the daily freshen up of the rooms - really helpful as a mum travelling with kids! The shuttle service is also great - we only used it once but was perfect.

Cons:

The tap handle in the kitchen came off immediately, Sky on the TV was unreliable kept glitching out. The bathroom off the master the shower head sprayed out the back. One of the other people staying in a floor above us kept banging in the last two nights.
Not Avani’s fault but the walkway being closed by the council along the water was a real shame. Also the gym and the sauna not being done yet but again not their fault.

Pros:

I loved absolutely everything at Avani. It was a comfortable stay with high quality finishes from bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and lounge. The lake and mountain views were spectacular. The staff couldn't be more helpful. I would highly recommend Avani.

Amazing, beautiful, stunning views, quiet and tranquil
Pros:

Beautiful property, very clean. The refurbishments are great and although there was some work being done, it was very quiet and peaceful. Room was spacious, had everything you needed. Couldn’t fault anything and the staff were lovely, very accomodating. Would stay here again!

Pros:

Amazing staff, amazing food at the restaurant and really good / high quality drinks at the hotel bar. The room was incredible and everyone made our stay really special.
