Good value for a studio apartment-like space. Would stay at Marriott Suites again.
Pros:

Lovely suite with amenities. Very clean facility. Efficient layout. Decent breakfast.

Cons:

Location is a bit out of the way. Family friendly lodging, so expect lots of foot traffic. Some breakfast items ran out and were not replenished.

This hotel is an easy commute to the metro to get into city and it is Clean with nice employees & a decent breakfast
Pros:

We chose this property so it would be an easy commute into the DC city. Indeed it was. Approx 20 min drive to the New Carrollton station (which has parking). The property was clean- which is always the most important! Beds were comfortable. Room were a decent size for 5 of us. Continental breakfast was good and had a variety. The staff was very nice!

Cons:

Our biggest disappointment was the pool. I should have known when I could smell pool chemicals from the entrance. The 2nd night we were there we went to use the pool/jacuzzi. I didn’t realized how bad it was I let my 13 year old go in while I went in the Jacuzzi (which had broken jets & appeared to have a crack in the bottom). Then my son asked for help finding his goggles in the pool & then I realized you could not see the bottom! It was bad! Everyday time we came in the entrance of the hotel all you could smell was strong chemicals from the pool. Needless to say we did not even try to go in the rest of our 5 day stay. This was upsetting bc this was a big reason we picked this hotel. ALSO It was absolutely ridiculous in this suburb area to pay about $10 a night for parking. Not one other lot / hotel around had paid parking. Most other guests I spoke with that parked at our hotel did not scan the instructions to pay for parking and just didn’t pay. We did know about this expense when booking and I am a very honest person so I scanned and paid. It didn’t seem to be in-forced. No one took your license plate. It was an open lot!
Not to nitpick and I would not write a bad review for this but since housing keeping is every other day we needed towel hooks there was 1 bar to hang towels for 5 people. Also no light in the closet and couldn’t see in my suitcase.

The pool and hot tub were very dirty especially the hot tub it had a smell to it that wasn’t good. I have young kids and a pool area and hot tub is one of the highlights to our vacation.
