A more basic menu that we weren’t so keen on however prices were better but would have like a more fanciful

Would have liked to have stayed for the day ! But a rush to do breakfast then swimming for kids times The times are a little odd for kids swimming, as kids cannot swim again until 4 therefore wasn’t much to do in between so no point in staying for the day which was a shame .
I love the location. Very peaceful. I love the buildings, a nice mix of old and new. The staff were great and looked after us very well. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back soon. We paid a little extra for a larger room which was great and worth the extra money. Overall very pleased!
On our last stay we had a basic room that was around the back of the hotel and was thus very quiet and peaceful despite a couple of functions going on.
This time we had better rooms that are around the front meaning that it wasn't so peaceful! Choose your room options carefully! The spa facilities could do with a bit of renovation.
Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zij zochten naar een oplossing voor een gigantisch probleem.
De vlotter van het toilet was stuk waardoor de hele badkamer onder water stond. We kregen een andere kamer maar daar spoelde het toilet juist weer niet door. Ook was in de douche de temperatuur niet in te stellen. Het water was kokend heet. We konden in de spa gaan douchen maar daar ontbraken de knoppen om de temperatuur te veranderen.
Breakfast was nice could have been more table service for tea and coffee .

The hotel is located in beautiful surroundings — peaceful, quiet and very relaxing. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The breakfast buffet had a good selection of food, and the coffee was really nice 🙂.
The pool, sauna and steam room were all good. It was just a shame that the jacuzzi wasn’t working during our stay.
Room No 15 was clean, however furniture utterly dated. Bed was comfy and we had good night sleep.
Food and bear prices were too high, so we chosen to eat out in a local pub with lovely river views.

The chef is excellent : We chose to eat all our meals at the hotel due to the exceptional quality of the food
Even though there are nice pubs in the area. It’s one of our favourite places.
We absolutely loved staying here and we were welcomed so well upon arrival. Would definitely stay there again in the future.

The hotel urgently need full modernisation. Rooms are outdated, the bathroom looks old, the silicone is already black, just not up to standard.
The Wi-Fi is free, but so weak that you end up not really using it.
Wifi signal dipped in and out and not the strongest signal. And there was no AC in the room but a fan was available so was fine but overall very good and great value for money. Food "the nachos was great" and staff very good. nice to see some good old traditional customer service. Very well look after. Very nice location away from the hustle and bustle. Excellent.

I had booked two rooms for next May but I have cancelled them could be very good but need to spend some money on the place very shabby
Attended a lovely wedding with freinds
The venue not cancelling one week before my stay a room I had booked months beforehand, with the venue blaming booking.com and booking.com blaming the venue.
Very peaceful setting. Good food. Large swimming pool and gardens. Room spacious.

The breakfast was a good cooked and continental. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Choose the hotel for spa facilities and the jacuzzi was out of order. The spa was very hot even compared to usual spas.
The hot water in the room was brown, reported to the property. They said the would need to get the hot water tanks cleaned again. It is a very old hotel and needs some reinvested but the location was beautiful.
