Ļoti patika baseins, saunas un burbuļbaseins. Patika apkārtējā vide. Klusums un miers. Patika interjērs retro stilā visa viesnīca. Skaisti.

Nu tā. Gribēju it kā noklusēt, izteikšos gan. Pirmais, kas mani un sievu sašokēja, tas bija istabas izvietojums trešajā stāvā. Vārdsakot mansarda telpā- bēniņos. Bija jākāpj pa spirāļveida kāpnēm augšā. Mana sieva ir dabētiķis. Viņsi bija grūtības ar staigāšanu augšā un lejā. Kāpnes nedrošas. Administrācijai tomērt būtu jāpievērš tam uzmanība, kam šāda tipa numuriņu piedāvāt.
Nākamais:
Brokastu process nepatika. Šaurība. Maz sēdvietu pie galdiņiem. Daudzi cilvēki, atnākot gaidīja rindā uz sēdvietu pie galdiņiem. Darbinieki nespēja novākt lietotos traukus. Galdi aizkrauti ar lietotiem traukiem. Brokastīs pietrūka ēdiens. Ja ilgi gulētājs atnāca nedaudz vēlāk, gandrīz nebija ko ēst. Visu ātri noēd, kas atskrien pirmie. Nu, droši vien otreiz es gan negribētu te atpūsties.

Very dated, terrible school dinner type restaurant, spa just a pool with a steam cupboard & sauna at the end, no robes available, had to walk through gym to get in

Lovely spot with great potential, and some great features but really needs some investment and tlc.
Pros:

The location was peaceful, parts of the hotel were lovely and the swimming pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna were great. The staff were friendly and helpful but not enough of them at times.

Cons:

Sadly parts of the hotel were dated and need a refurb both inside and outside. The restaurant choices were very limited on Friday evening and all of our party had to select alternatives as first choices were not available. There was not enough staff on duty on Friday evening and the young lady did a fantastic job running between the bar and the restaurant to keep everything flowing smoothly.

Disappointing although the outside looks lovely.

Near our brother’s home.

Cons:

Overall the property was tired. Wall plaster and paintwork needed refreshing in. Woodwork showing age and wear. Room no. 6 has unpleasant stain by bed, hole in the carpet and no plug for the washbasin. When asked for a plug for the wash basin, the manager showed us a plug socket on the bedroom wall!
Neither we or the receptionist could open the door to Room 5, and we were told that there had been trouble to this previously. We were moved to another Room and because it was bigger the manager later tried to charge us more for this room.

booked with the kids, and they weren't allowed in the pool after 6 pm, which I didn't get told when booking, the bathroom was aged and wasn't quite up to standard of the price I paid

Fabulous little find, would recommend.
Pros:

The staff were great! Friendly, helpful and polite. The gym and spa were an added bonus. I ate in the bar and the lady serving was very helpful and friendly, the food was good and well priced. I had a great night sleep.

Cons:

WiFi was poor unfortunately, struggled to use my laptop and made the work I had to do very difficult. The heated towel rail in the bathroom also didn’t work.

Pros:

Beautiful location, the cottage was so pretty, lovely courtyard staff were lovely and very helpful.

Cons:

Needs a massive revamp. Our room was expensive and wasn’t really worth the money, main light in bedroom didn’t work, only had one knife, fork and spoon, tap was dropping all night in kitchen.
Dinner was disappointing as lots of stuff in the menu unavailable
