The staff were brilliant.

Cons:

The hotel and grounds look so run down. Our first room smelled really mouldy, had mould all up the walls, peeling wallpaper, pretty gross.

The lovely staff upgraded us to the honeymoon suite. This was better, but the windows were all old and rattly, the door frames all broken, or gaffa taped up. There were all manner of weird items stuck to the ceiling like tissue paper and sellotape. The breakfast was awful, with cold coffee and tea and pretty bad full english.

The main reason I booked the Cwrt Bleddyn was because it had a spa, but the facilities weren't working - no steam or sauna, both were broken, and the ladies changing room was really dirty with hair all over the floor.

but you guys needs proper coffee. Maybe invest in those commercial grade coffee dispenser please.

Cons:

The upkeep of the property was shocking, damaged windows, duct tape on doors, other guests litter under furniture, steam room was useless.
Same menu for two nights which didn't offer a lot of choice

Lovely hotel in a wonderful location with hardworking friendly staff.
Pros:

Wonderful welcome on arrival,all the staff were friendly and helpful.Lovely location nice and peaceful.We made full use of the gym and pool/spa , one day we had it to ourselves for 45 minutes. Had two evening meals which we both enjoyed. The bar prices were alittle expensive but to be expected. All in all we came for a relaxing break away from the everyday stresses of life and we left feeling refreshed and relaxed having been looked after by fantastic staff. Our room was lovely and quiet overlooking the rear field behind the hotel.

Cons:

Would have been nice to have maybe had tomatoes and black pudding added to breakfast as is usual in other hotels we have stayed in that would be my only complaint.

Lovely night away
Pros:

The staff were so lovely to me and my little boy. Couldn't do enough.

The menu was a little sparse. The room was in need of a bit of a tlc, however was really comfy and clean.

Nightmare stay

The location was nice

Cons:

I have requested a full refund. The food was terrible and made me ill. The menu was completely different to what was advertised and was one of the reasons for the booking. We had to change rooms due to the bed being covered in brown stains. Overall, it was an awful experience. I never used the spa facilities the following day as planned due to feeling unwell from the poor food I was served the night before. I also never ate the breakfast the following day which was paid for, due to the above reasons. I will not be returning
