Glorious Hotel

Accueil désagréable ! Nous avons dû « négocier » le fait d’avoir réservé ou non car le réceptionniste ne trouvais pas notre nom malgré la preuve par mail… la chambre été sympathique mais une fois les draps retirer, le matelas était tout sale. J’ai à l’origine choisi cet hôtel pour son espace détente spa, hammam et piscines mais ses derniers ne sont accessible gratuitement que pour 1 heure entre 12h (heure d’ouverture) et 16h. Ses information n’étaient préciser nul part sur la description. Pour couronner tout cela, nous sommes arrivés le lundi soir donc déjà trop tard pour en profiter, le mardi la piscine était littéralement vide pour nettoyage, le mercredi la piscine venait d’être rempli donc l’eau était gelé au point de ne pas pouvoir mettre un orteil dedans. Ce n’est que le jeudi où nous avons pu profiter d’une petite heure dans l’eau « pas encore bien chaude » car il ne l’avait pas remis à chauffer en amont….. Enfin, quand au petit déjeuner inclus, c’est 1 fois pas deux! De l’eau au café pour vous dire.
Ah oui ! Les murs sont mal isolés donc nous entendions nos voisins parler.
Je ne vous recommande certainement pas cet hôtel. C’est dommage car il est très bien situé mais ce n’est pas suffisant ! Surtout pas pour une lune de miel :/

Morgenmaden var så kedelig, så vi valgte at spise ude, en omelet kostede ekstra.
Spa var ikke noget specielt og findes meget bedre tættere på centrum og til samme pris.
Vi bestilte det fordi, at det var 4 stjerner, men det levede det ikke op til.

Es war alles gut organisiert. Sehr schönes Hotel und Sehr freundliches Personal, Frühstücksbuffet war mehr als genug und sehr gut. Würde wieder gerne kommen.

It was awesome. Adam was a real gentleman, so helpful. My whole family were happy and comfortable. Thank you Adam from the bottom of my heart.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute und zentrale Lage.
Vieles Sehenswerte ist nah gelegen und gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

Ce que j'ai apprécié dans cet hôtel c'est seulement sa proximité du centre-ville.
Sinon tout le reste laisse à désirer pour un 4 étoiles 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 .

Breakfast so bad and costumer service it’s not good

1-The room was very dirty
2-The smell of the bathroom is very unpleasant
3-The towels are torn and old
4- In order to get extra cover because of the cold I had to get into a sterile argument with the employee
5- In order to get a cup or a dish had to wait more than ten minutes to be washed and returned Because Shortage of cups and plates (in the course of 7 days of stay)

Mainly reception staff are so helpful and trying their best,
Hotel cleaning staff very good and doing great work.
Breakfast staff are also doing great job even though same
Breakfast most of the time.
Swimming 🏊‍♀️ pool so small and to use it is chargeable.
Hotel maintenance staff very poor we had no air condition for two nights and hotel technician didn’t fixed.
Overall hotel location is perfect many restaurants around
City centre, very busy area.
Do I want go back I am not sure.

Good city hotel. Pool is not operational until 12. Prefer to spend time at the pool early morning. went to visit. all was closed. Not sure whether its even operational. Crappy breakfast. But by not eating at the hotel in the morning it help us discover some amazing restaurants in Istanbul. Love Turkey. Planning next trip soon.

New and very clean hotel with good service and breakfast. Area is not good, too busy and noisy, with some noisy guests. close to public transit.

It was worth the money, staff were very helpful and supportive.
Breakfast is not so great though

All the staff are so helpful. A bellboy helped us with our bags all the way down to the main road and didnt leave us until our taxi came. Heeven allowed us to use his phone TWICE!! That goes above and beyond what we expected. It was our second stay at Glorious and both stays were excellent. I definately recommend it

Arrived at the hotel around 20.30 local time just find the reception foyer was packed with huge cartons stored all over the place. Check-in was smooth though. When we got to our room we find it to be tiny and the toilet was smelly. The carpets were stained and the curtains were smelling as though someone had been smoking in the room. We went back to reception and we managed to get ourselves moved to the floor above which was slightly better. We could not sleep at night due to noise coming from the corridors as there were people packing more cartons with merchandise. That's when we realise that this hotel caters for the local and regional business people from Kazakhstan and Azberjan. In the morning we find breakfast to be ok-ish as they only serve turkish tea which we found very unpleasant.
If you do not mind the noise then you will be fine but for me NEVER AGAIN.
