Checkin was very smooth with helpful friendly staff and we were delighted to get an upgrade to a suite overlooking the pool. This was very large with seperate lounge and dining area. The bed was also extremely comfortable The pool and spa pool were excellent and we spent several hours there.
No real complaints at all, but as a constructive point some form of adjustable blinds on the windows in the restaurant would be appreciated. We were very lucky with beautiful weather for the stay but the sun was so bright as it set for the day, diners were having to move to the rear of the restaurant to avoid the glare. A real first world problem :-)

Restaurant: 1. New Years Eve Meal terrible selection and very expensive. Inventive Chef without considering the customers.
2. Breakfast Buffet was great on both occasions.
Restaurant Evening meal selection was very limited, extremely expensive.
Male reception person was not helpful, and forgot what he promised upon arrival, and did not keep us advised on our room access.
I would have rated this property as a five star, however the location leave a bit to be desired. Without a car, the only choice is to Uber into town for any activities or dining.
Our one bedroom suite was exceptional, with more than ample space and amenities. Staff are accomadting and professional at all times.
The buffet was less than expected with poor selection and quaility. On three of the four morning we were there, the place was so over-crowded with tour bus clients, there was no room and no food. Perhaps some consideration could be given to catering to the tours in a separate area, leaving the option for regular guests to using the dining room.
We did eat dinner in the dining room three times during our, simply due to the remote location, certainly not due the the quality or value of the food. In rating the hotel as 3/5, I should note the dining experience deserves no more than 2/5.
The only was that I can recommend this hotel is if you have a car. Otherwise I am sure there are better choices. Being Hilton Diamond members we try to stay with Hilton properties for the comfort and level of service received. This may have not been our best decision in this case.

Didn’t like the fact when booking the website price was way cheaper than what we paid per night and was charged straight away to credit card plus a holding bond of $150 and when we cancelled the last night with plenty of notice weren’t refunded a full nights stay …basically we felt ripped off

For two nights stay and yet searching on website for the room we had the rate is advertised way less

The double shower and bed were great. Love the pool and spa pool.
The bedside lamp was faulty and flashed on and off, then wouldnt go at all.

Superior location. Most beautiful property. Entire hotel staff is very helpful, caring and willing to go extra mile. Restaurant food is very well pre-area and of high quality. Loved the b.fast. Immaculate housekeeping. Close to lake and near many restaurants.
