Clean, Restful and Nice Stay
Pros:

In work travels through IL, found myself staying at the Hampton Inn in Litchfield. Decent and nice stay. Hotel was right off the highway and easy on/off. The exit has plenty of resources at it from gas stations, a few other hotels and plenty of selections for food.

Hotel and room was clean. Room of decent size and amenities. I did not use the pool or exercise room but they were present. There were a few places to eat within very short or short walk. Others with car use. Breakfast was standard fair for hotel of this type. Nothing spectacular but not bad and gets the job done.

Would easily stay here again if coming through area.

Pros:

Just about everything about this stay was excellent. Starting off with the greeting from the staff, the cookies at the check-in, coffee was readily available. The room was very nice, a very comfortable bed, the shower was also the best I've seen in my travels.

Cons:

The only reason I gave this stay a 9 was the pool and hot tub was not open do to mechanical problems. This of course was not the fault of the hotel but riding a motorcycle all day it would have been nice to relax in the hot tub. Hopefully next time.

It was great besides the pool and hot tub not being functional.
Pros:

Everything except one thing.

Cons:

There was nothing stating the pool and hot tub were down except at the pool area, not on there website, walk in to check in.

My day was incredible. The breakfast, the staff, exceptional.
Pros:

The people are so helpful always greet you with a smile. The place was very clean the 24 hour coffee bar very helpful. I will definitely be a regular at this hotel.

Cons:

What I didn’t like about the property I really can’t hold them accountable for because they’re doing renovations so the pool and the hot tub were closed:(

Pros:

Lobby, breakfast area and room very nice and very clean.

Cons:

Price for pet fee....please make this part of description on booking.com. I was in shock. Also, the stuff on bottom of tub/shower was nearly completely gone, I felt Very unsafe on it. Told desk, they said...oh well you could have come to desk and requested a bathmat...now who would guess that, and only there one night so too late.
