Check in was easy. Room was clean and of a good standard. Breakfast buffet was good. EV charging in the car park worked well over night (22Kw).

Mixed feelings. First impressions from arrival at reception were average at best. Room was good, although there was no hairdryer. When we asked, a brand new one was delivered to the room in minutes. Breakfast was hectic. They appeared short staffed, although the staff were very pleasant and tried hard to keep things running. We observed shortages of cups, glasses, silverware, the coffee machine was overrun, pastries ran out and salt sellers were non existant. Again the staff were pleasant and tried their best. Ultimately it needs effective management. Would stay again though.

Clean room, good facilities, excellent breakfast, staff friendly and helpful with 1 exception. Car parking plentiful but ev charging point very difficult to navigate.

Terrible terrible time!!!!!

Unfortunately, my experience was far below the standard I expected. Usually I find your hotel wonderful I get a great quick sleep and the amenities are great. It’s secure, nice and also quiet , which I really appreciate as most of the time as I’m going to bed people are actually getting up.

When I checked into my assigned room, I was shocked to find that it was already occupied by another guest, who was extremely distressed and jumped out of bed in his pants as i work on the railway so didn’t get to me room until 6am, i was then put in a single room when i booked a double and when I complained to hotel reception and wrote in my emails were ignored.

I stay here regularly and always have a consistent great experience. Staff always friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a good range of food available.

The hotel is top notch. Excellent in every way. Immaculate throughout. Friendly and helpful staff. Will stay again when in the Cheshire area. Highly recommended

The room was a little disappointing. Seemed to have a big space in one corner which previously contained furniture. Besides the bed we had one chair and a dressing table. No fan or air-con despite the heat.
We visited in March and the room was much nicer.

Two day stay, lovely staff, good breakfast and beautiful grounds but no change of towels or room cleaning during the stay and the Electric Vehicle charging kept cutting out and failed to fully charge which was very problematic

Ok but, the place lacked a little bit of soul.
A more personal approach from the staff would have been nice.

The bed wasnt good. Two single bed joined together and it makes us feel uncomfortable.

Wonderful breakfast, clean large rooms

When my wife and I checked in to the Hotel at 15.00, we found the room very cold and the electric wall heater switched off. It took about 30 minutes to learn how to switch on the wall heater. However, the room was still very cold and so at 5.00pm we phoned the hotel reception to request a portable electric heater. The receptionist assured me she would check if one was available and call back, however, this never happened. So we had to endure the low temperature in the room. When we checked out the following day, I made an official complaint. The receptionist seemed disinterested in our plight and said she would report the issue to the hotel housekeeping. However, we did not get an apology. We feel the hotel management should have made some gesture of compensation for our bad experience. To date, we have not received anything.

Disappointing! No heating on arrival, it was attended to but continued to be more off than on throughout our stay! It was freezing in the restaurant and were reminded to leave as breakfast was over at 9.30am, not what you expect in a supposedly high rated hotel!!! Coffee machines switched off no bread for toast, staff not happy. As we saw after leaving the staff were then having their breakfast so obviously we were holding them up!!! Not impressed!!
