tres bel etablissement tres belles chambres super emplacement face au lac personnel tres gentil petit dejeuner extra tout etait parfait
Camera molto grande e letti comodissimi, incluso il terzo letto "vero" e non una brandina, bagno enorme. Buona la colazione, abbiamo cenato con mezza pensione ed era tutto ottimo, anche se con poche varianti per chi pensa di trattenersi più di qualche giorno. Personale di sala al ristorante molto molto cordiale, disponibile e professionale. Acqua in camera all'arrivo gentilmente offerta. Posizione splendida e parcheggio con ascensore diretto nella hall (da prenotare separatamente e non con l'hotel). Fa venire voglia di tornare.
Servizio in camera non all'altezza del resto, le pulizie sono state fatte in maniera un po' approssimativa. La struttura ha bisogno di qualche piccolo ritocco per essere perfetta, ma è assolutamente accogliente.

The location in beautiful Evian, right by the lake. The quality of the food at breakfast, in the restaurant and via room service was good, although it wasn’t cheap.
When we moved in, the toilet bowl in our room was still dirty from the previous guest. The door frame in the bathroom was already partly rotten, which is why the newer door wouldn’t close properly. The water overflow from the outdoor pool is extensively damaged and therefore poses an increased risk. The tile grout in the pool has turned black almost everywhere. The pool bar remains unstaffed throughout opening hours, even when the pool area is full. The carpets and wallpaper in the corridors are in a state of disrepair and, in some places, damaged. Paving slabs in the garden, covering almost the entire path leading to the road, are broken and loose. Housekeeping was inadequate; for example, a bathrobe was removed and not replaced. Generally speaking, the service staff were only attentive in the restaurant area. Several control buttons in lifts or access terminals are partly faulty; in some cases, they only work if pressed very hard.

- J’ai retrouvé une quinzaine d’araignées dans le balcon et la chambre
- La chambre etait pleine de poussière
- Vous payez 730€ pour 2 nuits, mais on vous fait payer 8€ par Room Service (c’est la premiere fois que je vois ca)
- Le menage se fait a 17h a cause du manque de personnel
- Le spa est tres vieux, ca meriterait un coup de neuf
- Le staff ne fait pas d’effort pour aider a ce que l’experience soit meilleure meme quand je me suis plaint de tout ca, ils n’ont rien fait.

1- The air condition is tooo hot and when call the reception they said that the room is hot because of the windows in the room and they told us to close the curtains and they told us if we want a colder room we have to pay more money for the bigger suit and the hallways there are a lot of windows no curtains and it’s a lot colder than the rooms.
2-The blankets are too stiff and the beds are uncomfortable.
3-One of the days there was no chef in the breakfast buffet which is highly unacceptable.
Really nice location directly on the lake. The valet service was very good. The junior suite was very large and had plenty of space.
A couple of the staff were a bit unfriendly, one questioned whether we were even guests before explaining where the pool was, and the restaurant service was very slow and we had to ask a few times to order - except when they wanted you to leave and tried removing plates before we were finished eating!

Everyone should be aware
That this is no longer a Hilton Hotel. It is now part of the Leonardo Group who have a different approach to customer service.They do not allow you to charge anything ( food or drink) to your room account, immediate payment
Is required for everything. All food or drink deliveries are accompanied by a card machine, totally unacceptable for a 4 star establishment. They tried to charge for breakfast which was already included in the room rate. Five separate visits from staff during breakfast to advise us that they needed to charge, again a totally unacceptable situation.
It is almost as if they do not trust their guests and ,are running the place almost as a Hostel not a top quality hotel.
We will certainly never use a Leonardo Hotel again as we were advised that these practices applied in all of their group hotels
