Wonderful stay in a charming, elegant hotel and neighborhood.

I fell in love with Recoleta neighborhood and Buenos Aires. The hotel was once the residence of Evita Peron, whose influence is still very much alive today in 2026 Argentina. The room was charming. The breakfast delicious. The cafe was charming. The staff was excellent.

Cons:

Well, the elevator went out of order a few times, but the service elevator and my legs worked well.
You don’t expect this in a boutique hotel of this caliber. Replace the elevator. The technicians keep coming back but can’t solve the issue.

Exceptional Visit to Buenos Aires
Pros:

The location was excellent for the sites we wanted to visit during our stay. It was a beautiful boutique hotel that was perfectly decorated. It also was a prior residence of Eva Peron so there were some interesting photos of her in the hotel. The street it was on was very quiet and the location was very safe. We felt comfortable walking around the neighborhood even late in the evening. Also, the staff were exceptionally attentive and made sure to take care of any need we had. From the reception, concierge, bar and restaurant staff, they were all wonderful. The breakfast and dinner we had at the hotel were all delicious and there were plenty of choices. They even had a fabulous pianist at breakfast who could play anything you wanted to hear. The staff also made good suggestions for dining options in the area that were within walking distance. While this was a much more elegant hotel than we typically stay in, the staff made sure we felt at home and treated us as any other guests. I would highly recommend this wonderful hotel for your stay in Buenos Aires.

An excellent place to stay - not as well-located for the main tourist attractions as other suburbs.

The breakfast was excellent, the staff were helpful, informed and friendly. They allowed an early check-in at no cost. The facilities are clean and comfortable.

Would definitely recommend this property.
Pros:

Staff and bellman were very helpful in handling and storing our luggage. A cashmere travel blanket of mine was misplaced and staff searched and found it and brought it to our room.
Location to wonderful restaurant and walking to Recoleta Cemetary was perfect!

Lage und Personal top, Zimmer sehr unbefriedigend.
Pros:

Die Lage im Stadtteil Recoleta ist super. Nur knapp 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum berühmten Friedhof La Recoleta. Ein Viertel, in dem ich mich als Alleinreisende, die viel zu Fuß macht, absolut sicher gefühlt habe. Das Personal an der Reception ist top, hilfsbereit, sehr gute Englischkenntnisse. Das Zimmer war auch bereits bezugsfertig, als ich um 10 Uhr dort ankam. Man findet auch jederzeit einen Mitarbeiter, der beim Gepäck behilflich ist oder sich um Taxi/Uber kümmert. Das Frühstück war gut. Das Zimmer war sauber, und wenn man die Funktionsweise der Dusche (endlich) verstanden hat, war das auch völlig okay.

Cons:

Vielleicht hatte ich einfach nur Pech mit meinem Zimmer (Nr 17) im 1. Stock. Es war dunkel, und aus meiner Sicht leider auch nicht ungefährlich, da das einzige Fenster durch ein permanentes Stahlgerüst versperrt war. Ich hätte bei einem Brand im Treppenhaus keine andere Möglichkeit gehabt, als das Zimmer durch die Tür zu verlassen. Dort aber war direkt das Treppenhaus. Ich habe mich in dem Zimmer daher sehr unwohl gefühlt.
Die Reinigung der Zimmer erfolgte sehr spät. Als ich um 15 Uhr zurückkam, war noch nichts gemacht.
