The grand old dame still has it but would benefit from a facelift!
Pros:

Very comfy beds - nice quality linen, easy parking and good breakfast/bar area. Overall the hotel is starting to look a little tired BUT still feels premium with good-quality finishes. Would be transformed with a lick of paint!

Cons:

Staff were fine but not great, especially at check-in. Very perfunctory, not very welcoming.

Great, affordable rooms. Cozy, quiet, comfortable.

Cons:

We were not offered any support when we were not able to access our stay on the first night due to a weather event which almost washed us and our car away and wholly prohibited access to the hotel.

Absolutely loved our stay, it felt like a beautiful home away from home, and we’re already missing it! 🥹❤️
Pros:

I loved how warm, welcoming and homely the property felt. The comfortable beds, beautiful views, spa, sauna, pool and gym were all amazing, and the little touches like complimentary water, chocolates and the welcome note made our stay feel extra special. The location and parking were also really convenient.

Pros:

Service was on point. Great location, bus stop across the road to take you into town or to the airport. Breakfast was a great range. Dinner was fabulous with the beef cheek so tender!
