All units are nonsmoking. A USD 250 smoking cleaning/damage fee will be assessed on departure for anyone smoking in the unit.

All reservation requests were noted at time of booking and cannot be guaranteed.

Please note, the first night will be charged at the time of booking. Motorcycles, motorized scooters, RV's, boat trailers, motor homes, campers and buses are prohibited on the resort premises. Please contact the property if you have any questions.

Beautiful Resort
Pros:

I booked the room at Bayside before reading reviews. I was pleased with my decision to do so. The unit we stayed in was nice and clean. The bed was ok. The bay was a beautiful view.

Cons:

The pool was too crowded for my liking, way too many chairs for rent. Barely found a corner to put our own chairs. But it was clean.

Pros:

There was nothing I liked about the Bayside Sandestin Golf and Beach resort. My new bride and I actually didn't stay because it was so horrible. As soon as we found suitable and nice accommodations elsewhere (Hilton Home2 Suites - 100 times better), we checked out within a couple of hours. This place was like a glorified run down hotel. Not condominiums to me. The leather chairs in the entry were old and cracked and disgusting.

Cons:

Again NOTHING AT ALL
They held a $200 deposit for incidentals and when we got to the room there was a towel bar about to come loose from the wall and the tub stopper was sitting on the side of the tub.

Don't do it.
Pros:

It was clean, there was a lot to do outside

Cons:

CRACKER BOX: The place was advertised as a condo and that was very misleading. It was a tiny hotel room. There were two in my party, and there was barely enough room to store are luggage. The water heater was so poor it would barely fill that tub to half. Towel service only came every third day. Really? A rip-off for the money.

I will go again to Sand Destin but will search out a different property.
Pros:

The view was beautiful, and the fireworks were very nice.

Cons:

The room needs to be updated. I know when I was booking it said the room may have different decor. It looked nothing close the photos and it wasn't very clean. I even saw a small roach in the kitchen.

It was good but wish it was closer to the beach given the online photos.
Pros:

Signage was fantastic and the roads being a loop also helped since the property map was not helpful. The New Years festivities were great and the shuttle bus coordination was phenomenal.
I liked the use of the app to request services. Responsive.

Cons:

The pictures online for booking misrepresented the location. Specifically that our room was assigned at the bayside but the photos were from the ocean side so misleading.
The property was so large that the map didn't help navigate.
While the app was helpful, it was concerning that you could not get a phone call answered even after sitting on hold for 15 minutes.
I would have liked at least one housekeeping event performed in our room during our week there. Towels piled up and the floors were dirty. (no concerns over bed making or trash take out)

I loved it!! Great location, great amenities, it was clean and the staff was really friendly and helpful.

Overall stay was pretty good, just need some upgrades.

Remotes mix matched. Had to go all rooms to see what remote worked in each room.
Cable went out and never came back on our last full day.
Primary Bathroom vent broken and made loud noise
Vents needed cleaning - make loud noises when heat came on.
