Lovely hotel with a relaxing atmosphere

Lovely breakfast with helpful, friendly staff to assist.

Having to wait to check-in, on 2 occasions.
Paying an extra £7 for a room with a balcony which was pre-requested, to be told we couldn't have a 'twin' room with a balcony and they were not able to refund us the £7 , so we were given 'Free' parking which we were not aware there was a charge! We are also both Hilton Honours members which entitles us to free parking anyway. So this was disappointing as we had paid an extra £7 for nothing. A complimentary drink would of been more acceptable.
Fortunately we did not let this ruin our stay.

Pros:

It had a bed

Cons:

There was a lot of noise from a football crowd. People were drinking in the hallways.

Staff then refused to help me with a parcel which had been sent to the hotel. Very poor service.
