Cons:

Ver disappointed booked here specifically for the spa as it was our anniversary , wasn’t anything to say when booked that it was shut , whole reason why we booked here otherwise we would of gone to one up the road for the same price; awful how it’s still charged the same even though the whole spa is closed , only after the free cancellation date did it say on the email about it being closed may I add right at the bottom of the email after 1000 things so I didn’t see was too late to change it , very disappointed how can you charge the same rate when the main thing you advertised is shut

A good night's sleep
Pros:

Very comfortable bed. Complete peace and quiet in a courtyard facing room, despite proximity to the motorway.

Very disappointing
Pros:

Comfy bed

Cons:

Untidy, disorganised and some (not all) rude staff.
Also booked expecting a swimming pool and informed on arrival that it was closed. Didn’t get informed beforehand.
Agreed refund with management but they still haven’t processed this.

Ok hotel in lovely grounds, with generally friendly staff and clean.
Pros:

Spacious hotel in lovely grounds, with mostly friendly staff and clean and comfy rooms. The breakfast was quite good and the bar area was ok.

Cons:

According to reception staff, apparently booking.com were supposed to be in touch to say the spa had closed permanently, but they were not, so we arrived expecting to be able to use it and were very disappointed, as we booked this hotel for that sole reason. The reception staff were very apologetic and did take money off the bill, which was good. The hotel is nice, but doesn't really have much of an atmosphere, which is a shame.

A pleasant stay in nice grounds with good parking.
Pros:

Nice size room, comfortable bed, plenty of supplies on the hostess tray. Hot cookie on booking in a nice touch.

Cons:

Only downside was that the bathroom sink was blocked on our second day. The bar easy chairs need back cushions for those of us with short legs!

Would happily return, and intend to.
Pros:

Exceptional location. Staff were very friendly and approachable. My children absolutely loved the warmed cookies they were given on check in.
Breakfast offered a large range of food and drink options to choose from, and the table service cooked breakfast on the Saturday was mostly acceptable. I personally enjoyed the scrambled eggs and bacon both days.
The room we had was more than what we had hoped for. Spacious, inviting and comfortable. Ground floor with the table and chairs on the balcony in a beautiful location.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and intend to return.

Cons:

If I was to nitpick, there were a few hairs in the bathroom, one stuck on the toilet bowl and two in the bath tub and a few (of what I assume) were dried toothpaste marks on the side of the sink.

We had a peaceful few days stay at double tree saint Anne . Great breakfast . Dinner was repetitive.
Pros:

I like the friendly check in and check out staffs. Nice foyer and sitting area. We also enjoyed the spar area.

Cons:

Repetition of limited menu. The small fridge in the room didn’t work. There was a dried drip from something that had been spilt on the bedside table.

Disappointed for Double Tree
Pros:

Location is nice

Cons:

My family recently stayed at your DoubleTree hotel and I have to say it was an awful experience, particularly disappointing as it was meant to be a birthday treat for my husband.
The cleanliness standard throughout our stay was shocking. We changed rooms three times and each room was worse than the last. The floors were so dirty I requested slippers, which were never provided. Even the glasses in the room were dirty, leaving me with no choice but to take my drink vouchers and collect drinks in the bottle instead.
Because of the state of the restaurant, we did not feel comfortable dining there either and ended up ordering food through Uber — not what you expect when paying for a DoubleTree stay.
The entrance gave a good first impression, but that was unfortunately where it ended. The rooms, the restaurant, the balcony and courtyard areas all appeared neglected and well overdue for attention.
I have stayed at many DoubleTree properties and this experience was completely out of character for the brand. The location of this hotel is truly wonderful, which makes it even harder to understand how the property has been allowed to deteriorate to this standard.
One night here is not inexpensive, and I expected DoubleTree’s usual standards. Sadly, this stay fell far short of that, and what should have been a special occasion became a real disappointment.
I would appreciate a formal response and to understand what steps you intend to take.
