Good for comfort and good food

Good location. Not expensive. Clean. Friendly staff. Walmart cross the street.
Overall everything was pretty much good.

If you want a good sleep... choose another hotel. AC not working, Shower broken, durty... and aggresive staff...in a really noisy environment... it seems that this hotel is living its last hour.

Other than price the best thing going for this hotel is its location . Check in for westerners can be challenging . I asked for a non smoking room and was told my nightly rate dis not cover a non smoking room . Breakfast buffet was ok , but not outstanding . El corto a good / but pricey westerner restaurant is in walking distance .

Daniel, the assistant manager was very helpful. He made an airline reservation for me and made sure everything was OK.

Pleasantly surprised with the hotel - Walmart across the street - short cab ride to the old bund of Ningbo. Pool tends to be quite busy at times, gym could use an AC. Have a billiards room and table tennis area. Breakfast was surprisingly really good! Room was excellent and clean - overall if you need a clean place to stay this hotel is a great choice.

The room we booked did not match to what we need. Ended it up paying extra for a king size bed and non-smoking floor.

Will plan to stay in same hotel during my visit again to ningbo

The hotel looks a bit old but it is clean and comfortable. It is located in a busy district with easy access to many shops, including a Walmart! You got to visit Walmart in China! It is bit noisy the neighborhood, but entire China is noisy...The hotel room is large and comfortable and conductive to do some work.

Very average for Ningbo. I was expecting more for my money.

Reception staff was persistent in locating my hotels.com reservation, but it took them 20 minutes. The room was a non-smoking room, but, as this is China, smoke from adjacent rooms wafted in. No Wifi, but decent wired connection speeds. Not many eating options in hotel or nearby. Most of the guests were locals.

I found this hotel to be very good value and clearly recently upgraded. The staff were as helpful as possible and, although poor English was a problem, so was my lack of Chinese! Breakfast is very local but there is plenty of fruit and cereal to eat.. The fresh-seafood dinner-buffet is both cheap and excellent. The hotel is well-located and my room was clean and spacious. Do be careful though as there is another hotel of almost the same name in Ningbo ..its very confusing for guests...and taxis; I was taken to the wrong one initially.! I'd certainly stay there again though.

The room was a little worn around the edges with chips in the bath and a few stains on the light shades. The staff we very friendly and helpfull and the gym, swimming pool and spa facilities were very good. Food was a little of a let down for me personally as I dont like seafood so at RMB148 for not much wasn't great. Only saw two other western travellers.

Overall I will be back for sure. The price was also very good.
Better to book with Expedia directly.

Checking in late is not advisable. Lobby filled with arguing drunks and the bell hop had no idea where our room was and got lost (wrong floor!) due to confusing numbering system. He explained that he is not really a bell hop, but was just filling in...

Room itself OK and friendly staff at breakfast

Everything is good & good breakfast, room is a little old but comfortable. Bed is hard, need get use to.
