Travelodge by Wyndham Shamokin Dam/Selinsgrove

Very shabby, sketchy guests creepily watching my kids in the pool. Husband and I had to fix the bed because it was put on the frame backwards. Our dog found giant piece of glass in the room. Smell of cigarette smoke the entire night

Not prejudice at all because I work with many foreign people. But it seemed like I was invading. Especially because they must have lived full time in this motel. Only because many of the rooms had charcoal grills outside of their rooms. Tried to say hello to them and no looks, no answer back.

Steps were small

floors are very dirty. No coffee maker in the room. Beds squeaky and uncomfortable. Needs some updates and small repairs. Good for a night. Location good

The other people staying there were very loud while outside.

How insensitive the hotel is. To deal with the loss of a parent and then learn you have to still pay is a burden on top of grief.

I didn’t like the fact that it was dirty everywhere the room the common areas

Cigarette butts every where , the hall ways and steps were filthy

There was long black hair in the bathroom and shower. Mine is blonde.
Nothing is sound proof so sleep was limited. Very loud people until the wee hours of the morning. And of course traffic which wasn’t too surprising since it’s near the strip. Supposed to be non smoking but POT smell was coming into our room either from the vents or thru the walls or door. Door didn’t seal properly and we could see the outside. Had it been decent the price would have been ok but we definitely won’t be going back.

The floor in the room needed cleaned. I walked from the bed area to the shower and I could see the black coming off my feet when I turned the water on. It was not dirt that I tracked in.
