Great place for families
Pros:

Rooms were exceptionally clean, beds comfortable. The pool was nice. Each unit had an outside seating area
There was a large courtyard with activities for kids. Great for families or family gatherings Free bikes and helmets to check out as well as movies

Cons:

The breakfast was sub par

Great Location for Food, National Park and Relaxing
Pros:

Room was really good and we were happy with the door to separate the two beds. The hotel didn't seem to be far from anything we needed. We all definitely enjoyed the hot tub and pool. We also had a jacuzzi in our room. Front desk gave us lavender salts of sorts to use with it. It was very nice after a long day of hiking. You also had the option to check out movies and board games from the front desk.

Cons:

The only thing that was hard was staying cool in the room. We made our visit at the beginning of June. It was hot outside but the air conditioner they had in the window barely cooled down the front room. We had to wait for the sun to set in order to open doors and windows to really cool off. If we had to stay there again though we would be ok to.

Pros:

The room was decent (not good not bad). It was clean though. The best part was the extra facilities/amenities like free popcorn, swimming pool and hot tub, games, etc.

Cons:

The room could have been better. The bathroom was too small. Although they sell this as a Resort, the rooms and the structure looked like Motel. In fact the ones next to it looked much better. They were cabins and get a good feeling

Great location in Estes!
Pros:

The location is fantastic, near Lake Estes and not far from downtown. The staff was very friendly and helpful at check in and check out. The beds were comfortable and there's a TV with cable in each bedroom. There's a DVD player and a ton of DVDs at check in to choose from. In the center, there are laundry facilities, a pool, yard games, and a playground.

Cons:

The place wasn't super clean. I found random hairs everywhere- the bed, towels, the tub. The room was a little outdated, but this goes along with the motel vibe. The room was also pretty warm. The AC tried its best, and a box fan was provided. However, it was toasty at night.

Murphy's Resort was one of the few places we actually saw elk during our stay in Estes Park.
Pros:

Great location! There is a lake nearby which draws elk. We woke up our first morning to a heard resting beneath trees directly in front of our room.

Pros:

Cons:

Old pizza boxes used for target practice were left with buck shot all over the patio. Not good if toddlers or dogs are staying there. Floor had dirt all over it.
