Equipe muito atenciosa, em especial o Akhill e Jenna, hotel muito bonito e bem cuidado, superou as nossas expectativas. Eu não estava muito otimista pois eu tinha escolhido um outro hotel que teve overbooking e nos indicaram o St Claude, no final o Hotel Chateau Sant Cloude era bem melhor do que eu tinha tentado reservar antes.
A localização, é um pouco mais afastada, mas ainda de muito fácial acesso de bicicleta.
Très bon accueil, propreté, qualité des services proposés par l'établissement (piscine en sus), calme (à 20 min à pied du village)

La restauration n'est pas à la hauteur du complexe.
Les petits déjeuners moyens, avec une légère amélioration par la suite.
Un dîner sur place (curie créole) où j'ai été malade durant la nuit, je mettrai en doute la fraîcheur de la sauce!
Le château St cloud est très beau, un peu dans les hauteurs de l’île mais facilement accessible en vélo (possible de les louer directement sur place).
La chambre tout en haut des escaliers nous a permis de vivre de magnifiques couchers de soleil.
La literie serait à revoir je pense (un peu trop mou à mon goût)
La piscine, très agréable et la location de vélos gérée directement par l'hôtel.
Le personnel de l'hôtel à l'écoute et très aidant, notamment quand nous avons eu un souci d'insectes dans notre chambre.
Je recommande de prendre une chambre supérieure plutôt qu'une chambre standard.
Nous étions dans un chambre standard (Kino) dans laquelle des insectes (type abeilles) rentrés par l'évacuation de la climatisation.
Mais je dois souligner que le management de l'hôtel a été réactif : après avoir évoqué le sujet au manager de l'hôtel, ils ont aspergé la chambre d'insecticide, nous ont upgradé dans une chambre supérieure la dernière nuit (les nuits d'avant l'hôtel était complet) et nous ont offert la location des vélos ainsi que les boissons prises au restaurant. Merci à eux pour cette gestion!
I highly recommend the stay at Hotel St Cloud. I had a wonderful time. The hotel itself is amazing, beautiful pool, garden and room. What stood out the most, was the super friendly and helpful stuff that made our stay a unique experience, traveling a lot it is great to see that they put the customer first and make you feel welcome from the first moment. We will be back :)

We stayed at Chateau St. Cloud and overall, it was an okay experience. The hotel itself is fine, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the Wi-Fi was extremely poor, which is really unacceptable in 2026. We had already seen other reviews mention this issue, but nothing seems to have been done about it.
The hotel also offers bike rentals, which is convenient, but strangely, you can pay by card for everything except the bikes. This is both odd and not very customer-friendly.
Our biggest warning is about the restaurant, especially breakfast. The breakfast itself is okay but very basic. Only filter coffee and tea are included. On our first day, we ordered two cappuccinos and were told they would cost extra. We didn’t ask the price, not wanting to make a fuss, but the cappuccinos were really disappointing: too hot, with poor foam. We considered sending them back, but since they were made by a very shy young girl who barely spoke at the table, we let it go.
When we checked out, we were shocked to find that the two cappuccinos cost 190 Seychelles Rupees (€11.84)! We have never paid that much for a cappuccino anywhere on La Digue. When we mentioned that it seemed excessive, there was hardly any reaction from the staff.
In conclusion: if you plan to stay at this hotel, skip the restaurant or stick to what is included in the room rate.
Petit déjeuner varié, proposant un éventail de produits de qualité, frais et faits maison. Difficile de ne pas satisfaire ses papilles !
Notre hébergement situé au dessus de la piscine, très propre (entretien fait tous les jours), préparé avec beaucoup de soin et joliment fleuri ! 🤩
Repas locaux, faits maison, succulents. De plus, le personnel est charmant, aux petits soins, soucieux de satisfaire la clientèle.

Niestety śniadania kiepskie, ale najgorsze były karaluchy w pokoju na ostatniej nocy, niestety nie dało się skontaktować z recepcja ponieważ była nieczynna.
Hotel pięknie położony w lesie tropikalnym, domki/pokoje kaskadowo umiejscowione, basen, leżaki, miejsce idealnie sprzyjające odpoczynkowi. Bardzo czysto! Pokoje i łazienki duże i przestronne, bardzo smaczne kolacje a'la carte, pomocny i życzliwy personel, dbałość o wiele detali nawet wtedy, gdy nie ma pełnego obłożenia hotelu. Wypożyczalnia bardzo przyzwoitych rowerów na miejscu. Lokalizacja również bardzo dobra jeśli przemieszczamy się rowerami. Jestem bardzo zadowolona z pobytu w tym hotelu! Śniadania są dość skromne, materac na łóżku twardy i mało komfortowy.

À l'arrivée nous avons eu des difficultés de compréhension.
Stayed here before. The hotel has clearly been refurbished, so everything clean and in working order. Lovely staff, local mostly and very cheerful and happy. Pool is excellent. Overall I recommend this as a good place to stay and value for money. La Digue Island Lodge has, in my opinion, gone downhill recently. Although LDIL has a good location my view is Chateau St Cloud offers better value for money,

Wir waren mit Kleinkind unterwegs und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Unser Kind wollte Pancakes zum Frühstück, welche es am Abreisetag leider nicht gab. Wäre ok gewesen, es hat was anderes gefunden. Aber die freundliche Mitarbeiterin hat das mitbekommen und uns welche gebracht. Sollten wir wieder nach La Digue kommen buchen wir auf jeden Fall wieder diese Unterkunft.
Wir haben nichts auszusetzen.
The staff were very helpful, we liked the location, as well as the pool and the outdoor showers by it. We were able to choose the rental bikes ourselves and they were perfectly fine. I would definitely recommend this place — it offers great value for money.
I can’t point out anything negative — it’s a lovely hotel overall, and everything, including the beach and shops, is just a 5–10 minute bike ride away, which is very convenient.
