Amazing staff, perfect views, yummy food
Pros:

The hotel is amazing. We spent 5 nights of our honeymoon here. We stayed at one of the spacious Black Parrot Suites and had such a wonderful stay.
The staff is so attentive, kind and polite.
The food at breakfast and dinner was sooo good. They never had the same thing twice, so much variety. (Sometimes sad because some things were just SO GOOD, we would have liked to eat them every day ;-) )
Definitely worth a stay!

A True Sanctuary on Praslin Island: Hospitality That Felt Like Family
Pros:

Coco de Mer is a masterclass in genuine hospitality. The property is well maintained without being too fussy, striking the perfect balance of comfort and tropical elegance. We recently had a stay marked by stressful external circumstances, and I cannot thank the team enough for how they handled everything.
Traveling with my elderly parents, both 85 years old, with mobility problems and many exacting needs, is no small feat. My mother did meticulous research and concluded that Coco de Mer would be an ideal destination for a quick getaway while she and my father spent the North American winter months at my home in Dubai.
Once she knew her destination, she liaised with Ash, one of the directors, to ensure he and his team were aware of our requirements. The advance planning paid off perfectly; we had adjoining rooms on the flat section of the hotel which were comfortable, spacious, and easy for my parents to navigate.
The food throughout our stay was consistently tasty. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet's range of fresh fruit, baked goods, and local dishes (the coconut jam was heavenly!). The attention to detail from the staff was world-class. Chef Rajan went out of his way to accommodate my parents' specific needs for non-spicy vegetarian Indian food. They even remembered our exact drink preferences every day – from my father’s green tea (2 tea bags) with honey and lemon to my husband’s ice cold, plain soda with lime wedges (not slices!). We also looked forward to homemade cookies and coffee every afternoon at 4.
The true test of a hotel is how they handle the unexpected. When my father fell in the hotel lobby, the staff immediately cared for him and even arranged for a doctor to visit us at the hotel. The most remarkable thing about our trip was how comfortable and secure Ash and his team made us feel despite the outbreak of war in the Middle East on the second day of our holiday. We faced tremendous uncertainty about how, when, and to where we would depart (we had originally booked 5 nights but ended up having to stay 13 nights since airspace was closed throughout the Gulf region). Ash took special care to ensure our family was attended to throughout, even offering recommendations for transit and hotel facilities for an unplanned and unusual outbound itinerary.
Despite the stressful events, we managed to enjoy Coco de Mer’s myriad amenities. Matt led a group on a two-hour nature walk on the hill behind the hotel where I learned much about endemic species and the country’s unique history and geography. The massage suites have stunning views, and while the gym is small, it is very well equipped. We also made use of the library, paddle boards, kayaks, and bicycle rentals. And I enjoyed snorkeling right from the beach and swimming with beautiful fish.
There were so many staff members who were amazing - Joe, Ajay, Kalyan, Anur, Franklin, Natacia, Elsa, Deep, Tharindu, and Harry just to name a few. To Ash and the entire team: thank you from the bottoms of our hearts…..we arrived as guests and left feeling like family!

Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful and Peaceful Location
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay and felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The service was extremely attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming.
Our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and the beds were excellent and very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The entire hotel was very clean and well maintained.
The food was outstanding and perfectly suited our taste, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel is located in a truly beautiful, almost paradise-like setting, and the entire property is very quiet and relaxing.
Overall, we felt very well taken care of and would happily return again.

Our weekend at Coco de mer hotel
Pros:

The location is perfect, facing the sea deserted road. Tranquility at its finest. However I will advice anyone to get a car if they want to visit other part of the island because local bus services is every 2 hours but worth the trip tho.
We were booked into a standard room but was upgraded to a superior upon arrival. We were so so delightful for this... Thank you Mr Philip and reservation team.
The room was clean, ample towels, fresh, bright when we chose to open it to sit on the terrace. We liked the fact the we were the one to choose what we want to put in the mini bar.
Having a big bath tub, a very big shower and so many mirrors were cool.
100% value for money... We recommend!
There's limited noise level at the hotel, except for the waves beneath...
Service top, there was never a NO!. The staff were exceptional... It's rare to find a place were staff are so busy and committed to their work. They always made sure that your glass is always full and your tummy is full. The foods were great. With the indian touch in every buffet .. wow we loved it!Even the securities were very friendly and asked about your day.
Two thumbs up to the chief bar man Mr Joe... Your cocktail is the best... We can feel the devotion and love in every sip.

Amazing views and the friendliest staff
Pros:

Super friendly staff. We liked the pool bar and that they would serve you in any area. There is plenty of room to chill out. The ocean deck with pool is a highlight. The breakfast as well as the dinner buffet offer exactly the right choice of different meals.

Cons:

The rainshower wasn't working and the shower gel had a rotten smell.
We did not like the zero privacy bathoom.
