Excellent staff communication, gorgeous view, comfy and clean room, AC worked great. The Si Senor beach club was wonderful. At first, some older gentleman tried to tell me I could only use the chairs with no umbrella, but it was so hot and sunny. After a moment, I asked a younger waiter if I could sit at a chair with an umbrella, and he said yes and didn't even hesitate or bat an eye; so I think the old man was maybe not wanting me to use them for some reason. The waiters were sweet and the cocktails were made appropriately (I work in the liquor industry). I wish they had some food that was easier to eat on the beach chairs, but it was ok. Drink service was kind of slow, I am wondering if there was maybe only one bartender for way too many people, but again, the service was great.
Old neighborhood, has a sewer smell just like Bourbon Street. Stronger at some times more than others. But thats what you get in an old historic part of town!
Great location! Right on the beach near the Malecon and walkable to many restaurants and stores. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Perfect beachfront location with best view in the city. Quiet location at night. Very close to restaurants. We were able to upgrade our room because of cancellations due to the Cartel attacks on February 22. Much appreciated. Too bad so many visitors listened to the very exaggerated news broadcasts. Tourists and residents were never targeted and in fact were protected so as to avoid any retribution.

The location! Also the roof top patio was very relaxing.
The internet wasn’t very good. It really depended where you were located on the property. The beach it worked well but on the roof top you couldn’t get service.

Spartan accommodations - no, zero basic amenities
Location and clean.
No elevator for all 3 days, staying on 4th floor was told on check in it would be a day for a repair which never happened. No pool, no beach chairs or umbrellas.
