If you're looking for a laid-back, warm, and welcoming hotel in Praslin, look no further. Our stay here was nothing short of fantastic, and we’re leaving with heavy hearts.

From the moment we arrived, the staff set the tone—friendly, quick to smile, and genuinely helpful. Nothing felt forced, just effortless hospitality.

Our room? A beachfront dream. Waking up to that view every morning was a privilege. The bed was supremely comfortable, the room was cleaned daily, and fresh towels (including beach towels) magically appeared alongside two bottles of water. The entertainment staff also did a great job of keeping things lively without being intrusive.

Food-wise, the buffet was solid, and the afternoon tea was a pleasant surprise. No Michelin stars here, but certainly enough variety to keep us happy.

Now, let’s talk about that beach. Secluded, calm waters, and barely any non-guests wandering through—absolute perfection. Being right next to a brilliant diving center was just the cherry on top.

Safety? We felt so at ease that we barely locked our room. The locals are incredibly friendly, adding to the overall sense of comfort.

For anyone grumbling about the hotel not being a five-star experience—well, that’s because it’s not a five-star hotel. It’s a solid four-star, and a charming one at that. Plus, it’s about to get a six-month refurbishment, so we’ll be eagerly checking the website to see the transformation.

Sure, it’s a little outdated, but the relaxed atmosphere, unbeatable beach, and wonderful people more than make up for it. We’d recommend this place in a heartbeat. And for those who complained about mosquitoes—welcome to the tropics! That’s what insect repellent is for.

Lovely setting in a beautiful spacious garden. Nice but a bit dark rooms. These rooms will be renovated coming months. Every room has a lovely terrace. Breakfast is ok. We are not found on buffet diner but this was more than we expected. It would be nice if you could stay here with only breakfast as an option. There is complementary tea, coffee and cookies (love the mini scones) at 4 in the afternoon.

The location is stunning and the Staff are excellent. Staff training in all departments is good and we were looked after as well as any 5 star Hotel we have visited. Very few Brits here ( mainly French ) but nice colonial atmosphere - afternoon tea etc... The room interiors are due a refurb this April but we had no real problems with ours. All have verandas and easy chairs. We opted for Buffet breakfast and dinner option. Yes the breakfast is samey but there is a large choice. Dinners were themed and excellent - well presented and again a large choice. A la carte lunch very good value for the price. Even the drinks were affordable with wines starting at £25. Local village within walking distance with small shops, food shacks, ATMs and money changers. In house Dive Center with two others nearby. The dive options from this side of the Island are fantastic. The bay is shallow so snorkeling to nearby Chauve Souris is easy and well worth it - just mind the sting rays - they can come right in to shore !

### Review of the Hotel

I recently visited this hotel 2 times and I am simply thrilled!

🌟 **Staff**: I was pleasantly surprised that the staff remained the same. This indicates good management and a stable atmosphere in the hotel. Every employee was attentive and friendly, which made our vacation even more enjoyable.

🏖️ **Beach**: The beach is simply magnificent! Pristine sand and calm waters – the perfect place for relaxation and swimming.

🛁 **Towels**: The snow-white clean towels added comfort and coziness to our stay. It’s a small detail, but it’s very important.

👨‍🍳 **Cuisine**: The chef did an outstanding job! The dishes were delicious and varied, and i enjoyed every meal.

A huge thank you to everyone for the unforgettable moments! We will definitely return!

A parte la pulizia che dovrebbe essere più accurata ma era sufficiente soggiorno perfetto per accoglienza alla reception, gentilezza del personale al breakfast e alla cena,varia e ottimo cibo. Un grazie particolare a John che ci ha dato ottimi suggerimenti. Spiaggia super da non perdere assolutamente!

Fantastic location and beach. Very good food for breakfast and dinner (half board).
The chalets were good, bed and bathroom were all good. Balconny with seaview was also great. (NB. Remember mosquito repellent!)
Beach had loads of sandflies and they were really itchy.

Paradise sun is on one of the best beaches of Praslin and after our 5th trip to the Seychelles I want to recommend this hotel, really nice !

We couldn’t not have picked a better place to stay! Everyone is so welcoming and happy to see you. The food has been outstanding and for a picky eater this is a plus. 2 nights a week the resort offers a sunset cruise. The boat leaves at the resort around 4:30 and takes you to a nice place to snorkel, then takes you to watch the sunset!
This is all free of charge! The huts are nice it is not all fancy fancy but clean and nicely kept. We stayed in a beautiful ocean front and it was simply amazing. The drinks were very reasonable. You can walk to near by stores and restaurants. We highly recommend this resort!

Excellent customer service, all the staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. Special thanks to John who was the activity coordinator and boat trip organiser such a lovely enthusiastic man. Hotel is at the end of a beautiful long beach.

Accueil agréable, chambre spacieuse et confortable avec vue mer, restaurant sur le sable proche de la mer, petit déjeuner avec un large choix de produits, plage magnifique, activités variées . A recommander!

Avons ramené un beau souvenir : des piqûres et des punaises de lit dans nos bagages.

Hôtel à taille humaine, propre et bien entretenu. Le petit dej et le dîner sont bon, seul bémol, les noms des plats ne sont pas affichés.
Le personnel accueillant et suffisamment de transat pour tout le monde.

Un hôtel à taille humaine où les maîtres mots sont convivialité, hospitalité et bonne humeur. Un endroit magique sur une plage de rêve et sur une île paradisiaque.

Location und Zimmer wunderschön. Der Service war teilweise sehr schlecht.

Le personnel de l’hôtel est très serviable, petite mention spéciale à John qui est le « « « « rayon de soleil de l’établissement », merci à lui pour son professionnalisme et sa bonne humeur! Nous avons passé un bon séjour, l’hôtel donne un accès direct à la plage, c’est très pratique surtout lorsque l’on a des enfants. Cependant, attention lorsque vous vous vous baignez il faut mettre des chaussures puisque qu’il y a des raies rouges qui peuvent vous piquer si vous marchez dessus (elles sont cachés sous le sable). Le petit déjeuner est très bon, cependant le buffet du soir est bas de gamme, si nous avions su nous n’aurions pris la demi pension.

Très bel hôtel. Bon restaurant. Très bel emplacement. Bon service à la clientèle.

Nous avons passé 3 magnifiques nuits dans cet hôtel qui regroupait tout ce que nous recherchions : une chambre spacieuse, propre, un agréable balcon avec vue océan. Le personnel était très serviable. L’emplacement (spot parfait pour observer le coucher du soleil) et les parties communes de l’hôtel sont supers !
Nous nous sommes régalés au buffet.
Nous recommandons cet hôtel dans lequel nous aurions pu rester plus de nuits encore !
