Not great
Pros:

The staff were very friendly
The shower was good

Cons:

I didn’t like the people hanging around the portico at the front of the building, mind you this was a Tuesday. They had cars pulled up there for quite some time and were very obviously not staying at the hotel they were visiting. They were yelling and actually fighting. There were small children there as well. This gathering started just on dark and didn’t conclude until about 1030pm. Another guest I saw in a corridor said did you hear what’s going on out the front, he had arrived to the actual fight. He also said the staff member asked them to leave but a lot of people stayed. There is a liquor store in front of the property and a building site also at the back. We had already paid before arriving or we would’ve just left and that was before the nights events. The beds also have a strange tin sheet base and make a noise like an industrial bin being collected by a truck. We could hear it in the room next door also. A lot of workmen seem to stay there and they probably don’t complain.

Die Betten war sehr bequem und sauber

Leider bernsteinschaben und kleinere krabbeltiere im Zimmer, nach Zimmerwechsel nur noch 1 im Bad

Perfect for travelers with large trucks and even 18 wheelers!
Pros:

The property is clean. Comfortable. Updated and well located near a Waffle House for a good meal any time of day and 2 large gas stations with one being a full blown truck stop. We were traveling with a 26’ Uhaul truck and we had plenty of room to park and easy fuel. Right off the highway. Excellent property for traveling. The front desk staff was the finest I have ever encountered.

Pros:

The sausage gravy was delicious.

Cons:

On November 30, 2025, in the Midway, Florida, west of Tallahassee hotel, I slipped and fell hard in the bathtub. I had no broken bones but many bruises and was very sore. You should put anti-slip coating or devices on the bottom of the tubs.

Cons:

The tubs are very slippery and need a mat or something rough on the bottom. I slipped and fell. Hit my head, hip and knee. Was told hotel owner would not put mats or slip guard on tub bottoms. This is hazardous to your guests.

Better than expected. Clean and comfy
Pros:

Easy access from I-10. Plenty of parking. Very good breakfast.

Cons:

I couldn’t get shower to come on so had to take a bath. My husband had to go ask somebody and it was not hard but would have been great if there was a sign that told how to turn it on. Had to pull down on spout.

Did not meet expectations - would not recommend
Pros:

Breakfast was ok - kids like the waffles.

Cons:

Room smelled of wet dog, air conditioner did not work well, and surrounding area felt unsafe. Online pictures were from very flattering angles and did not reflect actual experience. Chose not to return for 2nd night of stay even though it was non refrefundable.
