Property was clean and staff was outstanding.
Property was a little further off interstate than I had anticipated.
Breakfast was ok.
Wonderful clean white sheets & bed spread.
Ms. Linda was very nice, just not knowledgeable about everything.
1. Breakfast: Bagels were "very" low quality, tables were not clean, scrambled eggs poorly made; decanters were not labeled, you had to guess it was water or guess it was milk. :(
2. My room was not available on the 2nd day, my card did not work, yet when I went to the front desk, the night lady re-activated??? Did not apologize or offer any explanation, not good customer service! (I was super tired from a long "memorial" for my son, the last thing I needed was this.)
3. When I went into my room on the second day, my bed was not made up! The bathroom was not clean, counter was dirty, mirror was dirty, and I had dingy white wash cloths.
3a. Tub was dirty.
4. When I asked the front desk to tell me how to work the TV, they (man & woman at night) were quick to respond they did not know and were not trained.
5. When I asked the front desk, how to call the front desk from my room, the quickly said they did not know??!!
6. When I was trying to use the computer in the lobby area, and had questions about the log in password, the elderly lady said "I don't know anything about that". Then when I finally logged in, I had questions about internet service, could not activate, again Linda said I don't know. To make matters worse the internet service was like a snail. This was unacceptable and poor customer service!
7. This was too far from the city of Tallahassee, this was a rural area and should have mentioned that online.
Note:
What I noticed, is that if a guest did not have any questions or concerns, everything was "Okey Dokey", just don't ask questions...because we don't know and don't feel its important to know, even though we offer the amenities?!
With all this in mind and My Statement with Pictures, I am requesting my last night at your establishment to be reimbursed to my card and I will not follow through further.

It was very clean and quiet. Staff was great!

I really wasn’t there long enough to see anything I didn’t like.

I didn’t like the people hanging around the portico at the front of the building, mind you this was a Tuesday. They had cars pulled up there for quite some time and were very obviously not staying at the hotel they were visiting. They were yelling and actually fighting. There were small children there as well. This gathering started just on dark and didn’t conclude until about 1030pm. Another guest I saw in a corridor said did you hear what’s going on out the front, he had arrived to the actual fight. He also said the staff member asked them to leave but a lot of people stayed. There is a liquor store in front of the property and a building site also at the back. We had already paid before arriving or we would’ve just left and that was before the nights events. The beds also have a strange tin sheet base and make a noise like an industrial bin being collected by a truck. We could hear it in the room next door also. A lot of workmen seem to stay there and they probably don’t complain.
The property is clean. Comfortable. Updated and well located near a Waffle House for a good meal any time of day and 2 large gas stations with one being a full blown truck stop. We were traveling with a 26’ Uhaul truck and we had plenty of room to park and easy fuel. Right off the highway. Excellent property for traveling. The front desk staff was the finest I have ever encountered.
