Decent stay in a great location for a fun weekend getaway
Pros:

Very convenient location to the beach and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were attentive to our requests. Good sized room with private bedroom and full kitchen. Good for families. We had a really good time playing in the indoor pool.

Cons:

The small round about to unload and load my vehicle was small and congested. Maybe better signage would help. The ocean view was barely there. You have to stand and look over the balcony to get a good view of the ocean, if you sit in the balcony chairs that view vanishes. Looks like whoever cleaned the room left before they finished. There was no hand soap, the shower toiletries were sitting on the tank of the toilet instead of locking back in the shower. The sleeper sofa was dirty when pulled out, Other areas were not cleaned so well. Lastly, I tried to use the oven and it starting smoking badly before it even got to temp, so we just shut it off. The smell made it hard to sleep.

I asked for an awesome view looking over to the beach because it was my wedding anniversary and nobody looked at my notes or read my comments The lady at the front desk was rude to me as I was checking in and also my room smelled like fresh paint I couldn't sleep all night waste of my time and money

Treated me well, and caused me no problems
Pros:

Room had all the amenities I could want, even including a little kitchenette, for a pretty affordable price

A Quick Winter Getaway - Ocean Front
Pros:

Last week I stayed at the Hilton Ocean Beach Club Hotel. It's not my first time staying at this property and it won't be my last. I chose to come during winter so as not to compete with too many other visitors for relaxation, peace and quiet. I usually come when the weather is warm. I was checked in by Marquita who was a delight from beginning to end with my check-in process. I had an ocean view studio room with a kitchenette in it which made it nice to put simple things together to eat when I didn't want to venture out too far. These rooms have floor to ceiling windows which makes watching the ocean intoxicating. I saw a school of dolphins practically every morning which made my eyes dance. By my second night I was having comfort issues with the bed and rose my concern at the front desk. Aishadia overheard my concern and stepped in to take over from the person I initially began talking with. Aishadia gave me the energy that my personal comfort and satisfaction was her #1 goal....and guess what, she SCORED! I was smoothly and easily moved to another room that was more suited and I was ever so grateful. From there, my visit was met with decisions of what time I planned on going down to the indoor pool and jacuzzi at the adjoining sister property. That's as hard as it got for me...lol. I stayed on a high floor so the tranquility and relaxation I was able to achieve helped me decompress a lot. The day I was checking out my room phone rang. It was Ms. Luvinia. She had called to check and see how my stay had been. STELLAR!, I told her. We talked about the similarity and history of our first names. We're both named after our Great-Grandmother's. How special is that. :-) Thanks to the team for making my stay so easy, comfortable and relaxing. If you'll have me, I will be back soon....lol.
