Business Rooms
Pros:

I booked this venue twice for some business functions. Once for a small group meeting and another one for a large event of 40+. The rooms are very well presented, clean and comfortable. The smaller room we had was also completely secure so was handy to be able to leave possessions inside and move around the hotel. The rooms had everything we needed for our business meeting. On both occasions Giuseppe and his team went above and beyond to make our events a success. Nothing was too much trouble and the food and drink we had was also delicious!

Pros:

Overall experience was lovely. The food was incredible, mozzarella dippers were my personal fav, but all of it was amazing. The staff were hard working, and really nice. The bar room was were me and my family ate, football and other sports were on the tv at all times. There is also a pool table in the bar room, which me and my littlest brother loved to play together. When we arrived our rooms were nicely laid out. The beds were quite hard but overall pretty comfortable. At the bar there was a lovely lady working there Biamca, well thats how i think it’s spelled. But she was the nicest. Really easy to have a conversation with and her service was great. Me and my family stayed at Harlow Hotel from Monday to Thursday under specific circumstances, and as much as we were struggling, we were also thriving at the hotel. The staff were really understanding of our situation and for that me and my family are so grateful.

Pros:

Location was very good and the staff was very accommodating

Cons:

No plugs near the bed, lamps on the wall loose, bathroom mould on sealant around the bath, the shower curtain was yellow should have been white, limescale on the shower head, cig burns on the plastic window sill

The facilities felt a bit tired
Pros:

Good location, friendly and helpful staff
Breakfast was great when it was table service as the eggs were fresher than when it was buffet style

Cons:

The food served in the bar was mediocre - wilted salad and the fish and chips didn’t feel very fresh. The tartar sauce was good though!

Clean but cold
Pros:

The staff were friendly and the rooms were very clean.

Cons:

The hose to the shower had split, which made it very difficult to shower.
The bed was a bit too firm for me and the quilt was too thin and we were cold during the night. We did change the temperature of the heating but this did not make a difference.

Cons:

Breakfast was not very organised staff seem overwhelmed and had to reminded to clear table to top up food as it was buffet but they were very helpful once approached.

Pros:

The hotel is good, the beds are very comfortable, the bathroom was ok, the food was ok and staff are friendly and polite from the reception, breakfast and the ones who changed the beds. The hotel itself looks oldish but it's ok. Thank you for your service.
But I would suggest a lift please.

Cons:

Lift- if you can add a lift to floors please because some guest might have heavy suitcases and chn.
