hotel in a great location for the slopes.
Staff were excellent very helpful
Room was also really good
Breakfast food was poor restaurant has zero atmosphere and bar is quiet at night
Excellent from check in to check out. Great concierge services to obtain ski rental, ski instructor booking and restaurant bookings.
Great location, fantastic service and overall amazing room.
Great location. Decor is a bit dated, but overall good value. Not enough outlets in the room to charge mobile devices
Short walk to the gondola and ski slopes
Tsanteleina is very comfortable, clean, the staff is extremely helpful and responsive, the breakfast was excellent, the spa was exceptional. The hotel is so close to ski lifts and restaurants and shopping and bus stops it’s very convenient.
The staff went out of their way to help me. The shower head was kind of cheap and the room was tiny, otherwise amazing
Great location, lovely staff
Great location, next to legendary Chez Joules Coin and 100 metres from the solaise and Olympique lifts. Friendly staff, great breakfasts and comfortable rooms. Parking is is in p0 - a 2 minute walk away
It's a very nice hotel.
Location: 3-5 minutes to lifts. Plenty of Guides and Rental spots.
Restaurants: Everything is nearby! 3-10 minutes and you have everything!
Pool/Gym/Hot Tub: Busy pool after ski, gym always easy.
Bar / Billiards: Very nice bar area.
Overall, one of the best hotels in Val d'Isere. Doubt there are better.
Beautiful apartment, friendly and helpful staff and location is perfect! Loved being able to head back to a beautiful and cozy room to rest after a day of skiing! The pool is great too!
This hotel is amazing. The staff super friendly and so helpful. Great location, only a couple of minute's walk to the slopes. We stayed for 14 nights and it was just amazing. Will definitely be back.
Absolutely fabulous location and the staff was so friendly
This hotel is a great place to stay for
We totally enjoyed our stay at the Tsanteleina. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is situated right in the center of town and just around the corner of the ski slopes. It has all the charm one wants from a retreat in the mountains. The alpine style is warm and friendly.
The view from our room was on to the ski slopes.
Sadly, due to the Covid restrictions the restaurant was not able to open. `However breakfast was delivered each morning to the room. Also, we choose our dinner from Matt’s Delicatessen downstairs so still sampled the wonderful food from the chef.
We will definitely return, hopefully for a fully opened experience, in the future.
This is a class place. Room was exquisite, with balcony overlooking the street. Service was excellent. Price a bit high, but this is
Val d Isere! Not for families, but well-heeled couples.
Spa, bar, breakfast and coffee all high standard. We'd come back.
The Tsanteleina is in the perfect location, it is built in a traditional style and makes for a perfect ski holiday. The rooms I have stayed in are lovely and cosy and we love the M bar for apres. The best thing about the hotel is the service; the staff are excellent, helpful and greeted us by name. We will be back next year for sure.
The location was great. Our room was on the side facing the road which was not great. Loud at night when people leave the bars. The mountain side would have been perfect.
The hotel was generally good and everything was well catered for. The staff were excellent from the moment we arrived and took time to get to know us and learn our names so they could greet us personally each time.
What really stood out though was on the last day my wife broke her leg and ended up in hospital and the hotel were fantastic shuffling bookings around around I could remain in the room for as long as needed and dealing directly with my insurance so I didn’t have to worry about payments etc.
The staff even made up a bag of treats and essentials for my wife while she was stuck in hospital and they would save me a table and dinner each evening for my return
Can’t praise the staff and management enough
