Pros:

Good location. Lovely comfy rooms. Loved the bathroom products.

Cons:

No fan in room or air con- very stuffy

No single duvet covers- oversized double ones with a single quilt. Felt smothered

It did a job but wouldn't go back. (surprised as Marriott name normally signifies quality)
Pros:

Receptionist on Sat/Sun was very helpful. Lady doing Restaurant was very polite and helpful.
Room was very clean and comfortable.
Bed was great.
Waitress was very polite in restaurant/breakfast area.

Cons:

The rest of the the staff not so good. It was like a chore if you asked a question.
Room never got cleaned after we arrived (There for 3 nights) Had to ask for clean towels, toilet rolls and tea/coffee etc. Straight apology would have done but just got excuses.
Shower on Sunday was cold and even after running 10 minutes didn't get even warm. Flow was terrible. Went to have a drink in the bar 1st night and was told no Guinness as just had a wedding. Still out on second night. Went and asked bar staff on 3rd night if any Guinness and still none. If fact ran out of another draught also. Breakfast was ok. Simple variety. No brown bread on Sunday. No fried eggs. Had some yoghurt on last morning but tasted slightly off as if it had sat there for several days. Had food in restaurant 1st night. Waitress was very good. Food was ok but obviously pre prepared. Was ok.

Cons:

Flink achterstallig onderhoud, onbeleefd personeel(een goedendag en welkom is te veel gevraagd), lang wachten tot inchecken (drie kwartier wachten en een aanbod tot een drankje was gepast geweest).
Geen Marriot meer, jammer.

Ok but I think we will find elsewhere next time

the rooms were on the ground floor and near each other. The location was good and easy to find.

Cons:

The beds. If you sat of the side of the bed it tipped up and you could easily land on the floor. we were staying two nights and the rooms were not serviced. Cooked breakfast was only luke warm. At the bar when asked if they had a wine list the barman said "I think we have one somewhere" when I looked at the list there were no prices. Again the barman did know the prices and had to find out. When I order a bottle he was put out about getting me one. Housekeeper needs to clean all surfaces ie. behind the TV and the edges of the carpets

The room was big and bed was comfortable

Cons:

No air conditioning and the fan in the room was absolutely disgusting it was covered in a thick layer of dust. Thecwindowcwas broken and wouldn't open. They moved us to a different room but the fan was still dirty so I ended up cleaning it myself.
