Pros:

The staff was very helpful and efficient. The room was fine we had a superior room which was large and clean.
The breakfast was very good lots of choice and of good quality. We were going to the races and the location was handy for the town.

Cons:

Having paid for a better room to find the shower head hanging off the wall after it had been mentioned in previous reviews was disappointing, this was my only criticism, but I always judge hotels on the quality of the showers.

Disappointed
Pros:

The location, it was handy for the air show. Breakfast was nice.

Cons:

No Hand-wash in our personal bathroom, sideboard wasn't clean. Had requested a sea view room twice and wasn't given one.
Stayed here every year for the last 3 years for the air show. But going to try somewhere different next year. Our room wasn't worth what we paid for. Disappointed.

Great hotel; location and views
Pros:

The room was clean and had an extra room for my kids with beds (which kids prefer rather than a sofa bed).

I loved that there was a fridge (which is not usually the norm in Uk hotels)

There was tea coffee making facilities with not only a kettle but another coffee machine.

Loved the bath

Lovely sea views from the hotel room (wish there was no bird poo on the windows)

Cons:

It gor quite hot, which i had to adjust the radiator and was a bit noisy due to location and seagulls. But it cant be helped and it didn't ruin the experience.

Parking was not only expensive it was over booked and hard to drive around. It was £30 for overnight. We had to find another car park.

The location

Cons:

Booked a twin room in February. When we went to book in they gave us two single rooms . One on the second floor and one on the sixth floor. Don’t know what universe they thought that would be acceptable. There was no where for your clothes and the bed against the wall. Just ridiculous for the money we paid x

Lovely building but definitely needs some care and attention
Pros:

It’s location we have stayed here several times over the years for the bowling

Cons:

It’s tired now and in need of refurbishment and with the cost of the stay this needs to be taken care of
