Cheap
Room too hot and very tired
Comfortable and clean
Very dated bathroom in room
Staff are all so lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Hotel has everything you need for a great stay. Rooms are clean.
Location excellent. Beautiful views from the car park. Lots of parking. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. Drinks from the bar, lots of choice. Didn't try food in the evening so cannot comment.
The hotel rooms/corridors are need of some tlc/updating but everywhere is clean.
Needs a facelift. Dowdy. Bathroom very unappealing, ceiling peeling. No bedside socket. Bed was ok but duvet was too small for the bed. Breakfast disappointing too, eggs rubbery, bacon unappetising. Dinner in the restaurant was ok for him, but my special burger was thin and burnt, only edible because it was loaded with sauce and I was very hungry. Couldn’t escape the tv in the restaurant either. Very disappointed- we wouldn’t return.
Explained in diatribe above.
Good location and a nice property. Plenty of parking. Rooms serviced daily and cleaned thoroughly each time.
It used to be a very upmarket hotel, but it’s feeling a bit dated now. In need of some investment to bring it back to former glories.
Breakfast had a good choice
Rooms feel a little career could do with a source up
Staff and breakfast were redeeming for the hotel.
allocated a twin room, no problem .. but the Duvets were tiny , FYI i am not a giant .. and the pillows the worst i have slept with in a very long time , lumpy , i mean really lumpy .. a shame otherwise all good , its the little things .. worst night sleep in sometime..
The staff were so friendly and helpful - lovely atmosphere
The staff
I liked how quiet it was and close to where I needed to go to.
Luckily I’m not scared of them, but in the morning I did see a spider in my room. The shower was a bit hard to operate at first and I wasn’t getting much hot water.
Location for a family wedding was excellent and the breakfast was very good . Staff lovely and friendly and hotel was spotless.
Nothing at all.
Quiet, good breakfast pets accepted
Sprawling,
Lounging room, large bedrooms
Room smelled damp and the breakfast was awful. Dried up mushrooms and hash browns inedible.
Great location
Dated rooms and bathrooms, boards holding up walls outside, layers of dust in the bottom of the wardrobe. Had an ironing board in the room but it only had one leg. The check in time was quite late.
