Hotel Edelweiss

We were met with a very friendly welcome. The front desk staff were super helpful and took our cases until we could check in later. Our room was spotlessly clean and warm with pleasant decor. The only downside was noise from surrounding rooms. We paid extra for breakfast which was in the restaurant. Although pricey it was plentiful and of good quality. Would have loved to eat in the restaurant at night if it had been open.

Very well located hotel. We took a taxi from the train station but it is only an easy 12 minute walk. Spotlessly clean room, fluffy towels, very comfortable beds, refrigerator & coffee machine. Quite unique decor with dark wood and alpine accents being quite delightful.
Very helpful front staff. Being an avid tea drinker I would have loved a kettle rather than the coffee machine. It is not unusual for hotels to have a few kettles for the keen tea drinkers.Also I am on a quest to have all hotels provide non slip shower mats to aid safety especially when the shower is over a bath.
We used the Corner Pub which is to the right of the hotel for drinks and a meal. There is also a supermarket opposite but it closes at 7pm
All in all, a very convenient & comfortable hotel.

Wifi connection was a little unstable, otherwise worth the money!

My husband and I had a great stay at this hotel—clean rooms, comfortable atmosphere, and excellent service. A special shoutout to Tania at the front desk, who was absolutely amazing. She was welcoming, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

The staff were helpful, friendly and accepting our extra ski bags into storage. The main restaurant is a must do, book early to get a table. Great fondue and entertainment that many come to see. The location across from a bus stop and reasonable walk to the train station and water taxi make getting around easier.

Wonderful hotel with great decor and ambience

The hotel has a good location that is easy to walk to the train station or the center of the old town. The staff was kind and check in was easy. I had the most basic room category and it was as expected: simple and the bed was comfortable. It is a 3 star hotel and it feels like that. Definitely could use some updates in the shower for example. The highlight was the breakfast! Really nice spread and super cute little restaurant that feels like you are in a cabin in the Swiss Alps. Very cozy and pleasant. I think they do Fondue at dinner time too.

Unfortunately my biggest complaint is that the smell of my room was not good. It smelled like a hamster. eeek. I really hate to say that but it was not pleasant. I'm not sure why it would smell like that and maybe I don't want to know. It was very strong smelling in my opinion and something needs to be looked at there. Could have been the carpet or rotting wood.

This hotel is just so beautiful and so very quaint. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the location. They lent us umbrellas which proved so nice in the rainy weather.

The hotel is very nice with a great localization with good attractions nearby ,room very comfortable and a fabulous breakfast !

What a charming hotel with the best hotel front desk staff. So helpful and friendly. Upon entering, we were greeted with a smile and kind words. Our room was on the 5th floor facing the back and was quiet. The bathroom was very clean and large with lots of areas for storing items. Housekeeping came every day and did a fantastic job on the room and replenishing items. The bed was very comfortable with shelves and outlets next to the bed for items. There was a closet with shelves next to the bed as well as 2 additional closets. The room also contained a safe and coffee/teas.

The front desk staff will assist in making reservations in the restaurant next door. So good - don't miss the chance to eat here. Breakfast was included and held in the same room and is quite good with many options. They are also quite knowledgeable about the area and helpful with recommendations and suggestions.

The hotel is walkable from the Geneva train station, but using the bus system with the travel card made it much easier and faster. The bus stop is literally across the small park in front of the hotel. The Christmas market was very walkable from the hotel and so was the area of Jet d'Eau fountain.

A great hotel with great staff.

We stayed here for 1 night in December. The hotel is in a great location, beautifully decorated and rooms are great. The reception lady was really helpful and gave us a map and showed us where everything was. Breakfast was great too, lots of choice. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location- 10mins walk from main train and bus stations and 5 minutes walk to lake. Lovely reception area, comfortable rooms. Good value for Geneva.

Good location (a little far 10 min walk from the main train station) where there’s restaurants and supermarkets within 1-2 min walking distance. The room size was also good but toilet was a little tight squeeze.

Great location. Rooms lovely, spacious and well laid out. Staff extremely helpful nothing was to much trouble. . Loved our stay here.

The hotel was lovely and good value for money. It was in a good location, walking distance to most places. The food was lovely and the restaurant was great for dinner - we enjoyed the music and entertainment. Overall a great place to stay in Geneva.

At first the room view was a construction site but the receptionist was so nice they changed our room on the second night and refunded the first night
