The lockers in the pool area are a nightmare. Everyone had trouble with them .
Also, in the rooms there was no socket next to table where tea things are. Had to move tray to bedside unit to plug kettle in

Birthday weekend break
Pros:

I liked the room . The dinner in space the breakfast and the overall full weekend break . The room was lovely bath nice with warm water big TV .

Cons:

I didn't like that I had paid for the birthday package for my partner. We got up to our room and there was nothing. Empty so had to go to reception and tell them. They did refund but would take three days to go on my partners card so never had his bday card or surprise for him wasted. That let it all down 👎 never got a chance to use the sauna steam room or pool as was too tired never slept great the second nyt with pillows being uncomfortable

Good facilities. Staff welcoming and helpful.

Cons:

There was an event taking place which I was not told about. This meant the hotel was overrun with children which made it noisy and stretched facilities. I was told there was no dinner reservations available. However, staff were excellent and squeezed me in. Had I been informed that the hotel was hosting a major event I would not have booked.
