Lovely boutique hotel! We will definitely be back!
Pros:

We had a very enjoyable time! Having a private beach right at the hotel was a huge plus. We also really enjoyed our dinner on the terrace. We had the Blue Haven Lobster which was delicious!

Beautiful Historic Hotel
Pros:

I had such a great stay at Blue Haven! I only stayed for one night, but the staff were incredibly friendly and even suggested I try the pickleball court, which I absolutely loved. The hotel’s rich history makes the experience even more special, especially knowing that Hollywood icons like Rita Hayworth and Robert Mitchum used to vacation here. I can’t wait to come back!

Cons:

Wat een vervallen accommodatie! Op zich vriendelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw in de avond die ons naar de kamer bracht. Prijs/ kwaliteit is echt slecht! Hotel heeft een flinke upgrade nodig. Ontbijt is matig voor wat je ervoor betaald en als je dan zwart aangebrande toast krijgt en de serveerster vraagt wat er mis aan is dan sla je de plank flink mis! Alles werd gedaan met een ‘arrogante geen zin in houding.’ Als je dan als serveerster ook nog in het zicht uit de pan zit te eten, dan vraag ik me af door wie je bent opgeleid.. Hotel heeft zeker potentie, maar heeft flink wat aanpassingen nodig hier en daar! Men had bij de receptie geen wisselgeld en pinnen kon ook niet. Waist of money!!

Traumhafte Lage in wunderbarem Hotel mit historischem Hintergrund.
Pros:

Die Lage war einfach traumhaft direkt am Meer. Ich hatte gefühlt das beste Zimmer mit Ausblick aufs Meer, riesengross und urgemütlich. Sogar bei Regenwetter lohnt sich der Blick aufs Meer.

Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, die Musik an der Bar mit dem singenden Barmann ein Highlight. Das Essen war ebenfalls top.

Cons:

Es gibt nichts, was ich beanstanden könnte! Ohne Auto ist man etwas aufgeschmissen, man kann jedoch jederzeit ein Taxi bestellen. Mietauto geht auch, es ist allerdings Linksverkehr...

The view of the sea was excellent as well as the sea view from our balcony.

The poor quality of the adjacent shared beach. That area in front of the hotel was rocky and inaccessible.

Pros:

Das Hotel hat die beste Lage auf der gesamten Insel. Es verfügt über eine wunderschöne Terrasse, von der man aus einen wunderbaren Sonnenuntergang genießen kann. Der Strand ist traumhaft. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und der Besitzer des Hotels bemüht sich sehr um seine Gäste.wir wünschen der Insel und besonders dem Hotel wieder einen baldigen Tourismus Boom.

Anvankelijk wat verlaten maar zoals een Britse gast omschreef: "the hotel grows on you".
Pros:

Fantastische locatie. Helaas weinig gasten waardoor het wat verlaten voelde. Jammer, hopelijk gaan meer gasten hier heen, zodat het hotel weer in de schijnwerpers komt en de luxe van vroeger terug komt.

Cons:

Wij vonden het erg jammer dat het hotel wat verlaten was. Schitterende plek met heel veel potentie.

Sensationelle Lage mit grossen Palmen, wunderschöne Dining Terasse mit Blick auf Scarborough und Meer, herrlicher Privatstrand und gute Küche,.
Die Besitzer sind Österreicher und sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel hat eine lange Geschichte und einen besonderen Flair. Es wird auch immer wieder von Celebreties gerne gebucht

This hotel is in a wonderful local with its own beautiful beach and fantastic staff, especially Sky, Alistair, & George the breakfast chef.
The rooms are all sea facing and the terrace in the evening is wonderful for a sundowner.

Cons:

The lighting on the terrace was a bitter glaring but I believe this has now been upgraded to bring out the beautiful sunsets

The most special escape
Pros:

The location was dreamy, and the views from my room and the terrace were both incredible. Access to the quiet little beach was perfect and peaceful, and I was super happy with my complimentary upgrade. Before I even arrived it felt like I was in safe hands, as the staff arranged for day trips for me all in advance. A truly special place to stay and somewhere I would love to return to.
