We had multiple rooms booked for a ballet competition in town. Front desk always gave service with a smile, very welcoming. The kind lady that was setting up and restocking the breakfast area was a very hard worker and very helpful .
Our stay at this Marriott coincided with an exceptionally difficult and stressful time for our family, and every member of the staff—from the front desk to housekeeping to maintenance—has been truly wonderful.
I want to especially recognize Tiffany at the front desk, who has been exceptional. She treated us not just as guests, but like genuine friends—showing kindness, patience, and empathy at every interaction. She took the time to understand our situation, helped us navigate logistics, and consistently checked in on us with care and professionalism.
It takes a special kind of person to provide this level of service during extraordinary circumstances. Tiffany’s compassion made a lasting difference for our family, and the entire team helped us feel supported when we needed it most. Marriott should be very proud of the people working here.
We stayed at The Residence Inn in Manassas VA for 3 days during the snow/ice storm(Jan. 24-26). The entire staff were phenomenal. They were plowing the parking lot, shoveling and snowblowing and salting the walkways all day and night. The staff throughout the storm were friendly, accomodating, and fully dtaffed each day. The breakfast each morning was excellent. Everone went above and beyond to ensure all the guests were comfortable.
Good location. Run down hotel. Front desk staff incredibly nice. Breakfast not worth it. Expensive for poor conditions. Toilet ran all night. Air in pipes every time we tried to turn water on. Linens and bedding dingy. Won’t come back.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
We didn't sleep the first night due the noise level coming from a busy road. The staff was very accommodating and put us across the hallway in a room that faced the back. This certainly made it easy to move our belongings, but the second room had a slight odor of food and twice we found stink bugs. It just wasn't very clean, the bed sheets were rough and the pillows were not great. Unfortunately we still didn't get good sleep because the garbage truck drove by twice around 5AM during our short stay.
My family & I truly enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff & kitchen staff were professional, friendly & attentive. Big shout out to Maria & Sonia the kitchen staff; Chris, Tiffany, Amir & Gregory the front desk staff. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful & quickly replenished. The area was constantly being cleaned & restocked. The hotel room, lobby, breakfast area, pool, gym & grounds were immaculate. We were always greeted & staff took the time to speak with us & we felt welcomed & special. The location is great & close to lots of restaurants & activities. Would definitely recommend this hotel & it's staff.
This Residence Inn is our go to here in Virginia. From the jump, it has been Outstanding each of the 3 times we have stayed within the past ten months. Such a lovely property, situated with easy access and a very welcoming team - you are happy as soon as you enter, ha. We take the 2 bedroom suite and adore the fireplace & quite cozy living room. The Battlefield art on the walls is beautiful! This hotel is Exceptionally clean, well appointed and I so appreciate the very lovely 4 star touches that the housekeeping teams add Every time. The kitchen linens are always folded into beautiful shapes, ditto with both of the bathrooms & you Do feel pampered! :)
My husband loves the wonderful hot breakfast and I am partial to their Rain Forest coffee. Very open & charming room for breakfast with another fireplace:) and huge picture windows letting in a ton of natural light. I have been a Hyatt girl the past 4 years, and a very frequent traveler, but Marriot has been winning me over, with each & Every visit!! There are 4 star hotels who could take a page from this Residence Inn. Thank you for another fabulous stay ~
Newer Marriott hotel with all the modern improvements of a Residence Inn. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The top
floor rooms even have fireplaces!
Lauren and Tiffany were amazing. Very nice and informative. My entire stay we felt welcomed by your entire staff . My family and I will definitely return here again soon. Rooms and hotel were clean. We were informed of all amenities and their hours of service. The location was near a lot of stores and restaurants. Thank you for a great stay!
I am a Titanium member and am familiar with all levels of Marriott hotels. This is one of the best Marriott hotels! Service from everyone was excellent and I must compliment Tiffany, the most, and she works at the front desk. She is very attentive and helpful. Tiffany was working one of the most stressful travel times, Thanksgiving week and was so pleasant even when very busy with so many customers. Rooms were very clean and the breakfast service was great. I had a 2 night, 3 day stay and will definitely come back here again. I would highly recommend this Residence Inn!
Very friendly staff and a great family environment! Swimming pool, fitness center, and an outdoor basketball court. Plus they have 1 bedroom suites, so you can have the kids sleep in the living room. Plus free breakfast!
Everything in the room was in excellent condition. Had enough toiletries in the bathroom including shampoo, conditioner y body wash. The kitchenette was fully stacked with all utensils being very clean as the kitchenette area. Heated indoor pool, included breakfast, 24-hour mini-market, laundry facilities on site make this an excellent location. A++ all the way. Also, upon check in I was greeted warmly and respectfully by the front desk attendant that was very receptive and helpful about my personal needs. He made the check in process seamless, quick and informative.
Everything was great but if I had to change anything, it would most likely be new refrigerators with more modern ice-makers. This could be a needed upgrade for someone that likes ice with their drinks like myself.
I enjoyed my stay mostly due to the friendliness of the staff, they were awesome. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. I can typically lay my head anywhere, but its the employees that will make me come back to this hotel.
We recently spent four nights at the Residence Inn Manassas. All of the staff were just wonderful -especially the front desk managers: Tiffany and Chris. We were in town for a family wedding so there were multiple rooms occupied by relatives and friends. They could not have been more helpful or accommodating . The cleaning staff, the kitchen staff- all were extremely friendly and attentive to everyone’s needs.
The hotel itself could use some renovations (the carpet is worn in the hallways and rooms) but t is conveniently located and I would highly recommend staying there for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Wonderful time. Cute patio, fun basketball court. Close to all kinds of food and playgrounds for the kids. They have cold brew coffee in the mornings and everyone is so friendly.
Visited in October 2025 for a friend's birthday for wine tasting. Walked in after a long travel day and was immediately greeted and checked in. From the front desk staff to housekeeping to the breakfast staff, everyone was kind and greeted you. It's honestly the kindest chain hotel I've stayed in. It set a positive tone for our stay. Shared the two-bedroom suite with a friend, and there was plenty of space both in the bedroom and the living room. Never felt like we were on top of each other. It was large enough to host the other friends in the hotel who got studio rooms. The hotel and room were clean; there were some areas in need of repair, but they were mostly cosmetic. The breakfast was fabulous every day. They made smaller portions but kept the food coming, which is excellent. I didn't feel like I was eating 2-hour-old eggs. Tiffany at the front desk was a delight, a true hospitality professional. Was able to call rideshares from the hotel. I'll be back for more wine tasting next year, and I'm staying here for sure.
The hotel was not what I expected at Marriott. The hotel was rundown and there didn't appear to be enough staff to manage the hotel. For example - A tile in my bathroom was completely loose where it could be lifted up and moved; the wallpaper in the hallway was torn and sticking out about 10 inches; I didn't have shampoo in my shower but had an extra bottle of body wash that I discovered after I got in the shower; parking was very difficult but there were about 10 spaces blocked off for construction trucks at the entrance; and food trays were left in the hallway overnight and part of the day.
The hotel is old, need renovation. The carpet looks dirty. The stairs are not often cleaned. I found 2 body shower bottles and no shampoo. The front desk struggles with basic request like billings specific to frequent travelers.
