Pros:

The area it was in was fantastic and the staff are lovely

Great stay in a great town . Just worry about the state of the hotel and others like it
Pros:

We love the location and we love Port Douglas. We stay every year in the off season . The Hotel was Spacious and Clean .

Cons:

Main issue was the leaking gutters that dripped constantly and were very loud . Like alot of FNQ s hotel s ,the Mantra village is becoming run down. Surley some profits will be used to upgrade the hotel. Simple things like rusted out gutters should be fixed in the tropics .
Only saw staff members twice over a few days . This hotel franchise and others like it must do better to try and entice people back to the region

Pros:

very central to everything the pool was nice and cool but odd looking spa was good to use as well

Cons:

No staff to speak to about anything if needed to just a phone to use. The bed was so hard thought sleeping on the floor would be softer. The a/c and ceiling fan were very noisy constant humming vibrating. The view across from the balcony was of a building that needed a new paint job not very pleasing to sit out on the balcony to look at. The bed looked like it had just been pulled up from the previous person who had slept there tho the sheets look clean.

I had a relaxing time it was enjoyable
Pros:

It was lovely inside had a beautiful big spa bath on the balcony with privacy screens
Huge comfortable bed , nice and relaxing sitting on the balcony

Cons:

No real car park for the hotel so cars not secure , have to walk past cafes to get into the place .

The good far outweighed the bad. We had a great stay.
Pros:

Loved the location. Staff were friendly. Rooms were a bit dated but very adequate.

Cons:

Laundry was terrible. Only one washer and one dryer working. Pool was small and old with a really rough textured surface that could actually damage your skin. Sharpe undulating floor and edges were quite dangerous and the spa was about to be removed from the pool.

Pros:

La piscine et rien de plus malheureusement.

Cons:

La chambre avec spa réservée était hors service à l’arrivée, signalée uniquement par une affiche “out of service”, sans information préalable.
Aucun personnel présent dans l’hôtel et aucune réponse à mes emails, même après le séjour.
Le sol de la chambre était constamment trempé et humide. Malgré l’ouverture des fenêtres et l’arrêt de la climatisation, la situation n’a pas changé et nous avons passé le séjour avec les pieds mouillés.
La chambre est très mal insonorisée : heureusement qu’il y a peu de trafic, car la moindre voiture est audible, ce qui nuit fortement au confort.
Le prix affiché était de 296 AUD, mais 299 AUD ont été débités sans explication.
Globalement, l’établissement manque d’entretien et de sérieux.

Location, the apartment was nice and roomy. Not a lot of face to face interaction with staff but very quick service when needed. Love the pool. Would be an idea to have some basic cleaning equipment for longer stays, maybe a broom, brush and shovel and something to clean kitchen benches with

Pros:

The location was good in Port Douglas.

Cons:

The bed was very uncomfortable. Two mornings we were woken early by someone (a cleaner) coughing vomiting and snorting very loudly and music playing on a phone and bottles being moved. This was about 6am and sounded like it was right outside our door/ next door. We did not see any staff the whole time we were there.

Would definitely return. Great location and comfortable room with everything we wanted for our stay.
Pros:

Location is excellent to access shops and restaurants. Room had everything we needed.

Cons:

While it did not impact our stay and there was a phone to access support, the on-site Reception / Office never appeared to be open across the duration of our 4 day stay.

Very convenient location, clean, good value for money, but getting a bit dated & checking in felt impersonal
Pros:

Location is great, room clean & well stocked kitchen equipment. Pool lovely.

Cons:

No one to meet us when checking in. We found it confusing and not welcoming to find an empty reception area & note on the wall advising to use the phone for directions to check in
