Stayed last week and thoroughly enjoyed my stay from the staff at check in to breakfast variety before checkout. The room was clean and nice location for shopping and dining.
First, the good……because there’s less of it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which I’ll explain later. The breakfast was varied and tasty.
Now the bad. The room we checked into on the 2nd floor smelled like a clogged toilet. We went to the front desk and they very quickly moved us to a room on the 4th floor. As for the bed, I’ve slept on more comfortable ones at a Motel 6. Ridiculously hard. Also, the room faced directly out to 16th Street and there was traffic noise all night long. I saw every hour on the clock (except 1 am) . Finally, trying to find something on the tv using the guide was an adventure unto itself. Frankly, Hilton should be embarrassed to have its name attached to this place.
Perfect location, within walking distance of the mall and restaurants. The staff offers a warm welcome with genuine smile that makes you feel at home. If you leave before 6am there is always a bag to go! Rooms are immaculately clean, I stayed most hotels in Yuma, and I found Hampton the best!

I have been a Hilton honors member for over 20 years. I travel three weeks out of a month, traveling all over the country, staying at Hilton Hotels and I must say this hotel has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The front desk clerk Destiny has no customer service skills whatsoever. She obviously has never learned the importance of listening and giving the customer the opportunity to speak. Due to corporate funding my credit card, the card declined when Destiny decided to run my card early. I had not checked in. I stayed at the hotel the night prior utilizing points. I had a new reservation for an additional three nights. I was working with corporate to get the issue resolved with my corporate card and had not checked into the hotel yet. Destiny called me while I was teaching (working) a class and I explained I was unable to speak at that time and would call her back. She called twice and ran the same card twice. I called her bank I was going to provide her another credit card but she would not give me the opportunity to do so. She just continued to yell, "she has the right to cancel the reservation". I did not understand why she refused to allow me to speak. I finally asked "what the hell is the problem"? A man jumped on the line and yelled "your reservation is cancelled"! In all of my years I have never experienced anything like this so now I am at the Marriott. The room smells much better and they sterilize the TV remote. I will be contacting Hilton Corporate office regarding this situation.
