Lovely unique hotel
Pros:

Centrally located you can park up here and easily explore Canterbury.
Lovely quirky hotel with unique rooms. We stayed in one of the classic rooms, lovely decor and very comfortable.
The breakfast choice is extensive, well cooked and presented and all the staff are really welcoming and friendly.

Pros:

Very close to everything we wanted. Parking was easy. Bed was comfortable. Not much road noise and we were right at the front of the hotel looking onto the road.
Good options for breakfast as well

Overall a really lovely place which we'd be happy to go back to.
Pros:

Outstanding teabags in room. So nice to stay somewhere that doesn't just put out revolting PG tips. Excellent location - cross the road and you're in town straight away. Impressive breakfast choices - we had the full English and it was excellent. Lovely happy hour idea for guests - not only 2 for 1 cocktails but also complimentary cheese and biscuits. The whole place was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Cons:

Feather pillows, ugh.
It is a little bit noisy as you're right by a road but we didn't find this too difficult to cope with.
Broken plug in sink which wasn't sorted while we were there.

great stay in Canterbury
Pros:

room was comfortable, breakfast was very good, parking on site was convenient, location was great for walking around Canterbury.

Cons:

parking cost 36 pounds for two motorcycles. I realize this was a separate operation but seemed excessive. As they fit in one parking spot, the charge should have been 18 pounds.

Recommend, but get a room at the back!
Pros:

Location, decoration. Space for seating inside and outside. Parking onsite was excellent too.

Cons:

We had a room at the front. The secondary glazing came loose and came down. The bins were emptied right outside our window at 5am Monday morning.

Pros:

The price was very good, the breakfast was great and the staff were really good, nice bar, restaurant and hotel overall.

Cons:

The room was a little small (expected and not the bad point) but because it was small, it was very warm. With the one small window opened and no air conditioning, sleep was a little difficult. Appreciate the weather was high 20's and may not be like that all the time. You could hear music playing all night long and from the early hours, don't know if it was the bar / restaurant but wasn't ideal. Also, the shower door is hanging on for dear life. Also the parking was a little dear for just an overnight stay. Thought guests may get free or discounted parking fee.

Disappointing
Pros:

Perfect location but very small room, small dangerous bathroom with no handle to get into the bathtub, no hand held shower, no fridge, no air conditioning though there was a small ventilator. Felt more like 3 stars rather than 4.
