5 star service in a historical gem
Pros:

Amazing hotel in the centre of Canterbury. Beautifully decorated. Great size rooms with lovely bathrooms and delicious bath products. Excellent restaurant and bar with attentive and helpful staff throughout the hotel

Die Lage zur Innenstadt ist perfekt, das Personal an der Theke war sehr professionell und freundlich

Cons:

Unser normales DZ , EG , sehr klein, sehr sehr altes Mobiliar und kaputter Teppichboden , schlechter Geruch. Wahrscheinlich gibt es bessere Zimmer,
Preise für dieses Zimmer höher als eine suit in der Woche .

All good.
Pros:

Brilliant location with central Canterbury on the doorstep.
Rooms were clean and well kept.
Parking on site was a bonus although there is a charge each night.
Breakfast was tasty with good choices.
Happy hour each evening.

Comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful old building and overall a good hotel. I liked the happy hour deal too

Cons:

No air conditioning, coffees (other than basic filter one) are not included in the breakfast and the hotel overall needs some updating. It is way too expensive for what it offers so personally I wouldn't go back

Pros:

It was an extremely hot day and night and the receptionist changed our rooms so that we were on the ground floor and one room had air con. They couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The rooms were pleasant well equipped and very clean. Breakfast was lovely too

Pros:

This was a really cool hotel. It was definitely renovated at some point because there was a good mix of old and new. The breakfast was really good. There was a set menu, but as long as they had what you were wanting to eat, they would make it for you. There was a continental breakfast available as well that was pretty standard. The bed was also really comfortable. The location was incredible. Its super close to Canterbury West station and just off the high street. The hotel also does a happy hour just got guest staying at the hotel that is 2 for 1 drinks and charcuterie.

Cons:

These are all super minor. The room was small so some of the furniture choices seemed a bit too big for the space. The sink in the bathroom was also really small with a shlef that came out quite far for the size of sink. I definitly knocked into the shelf once or twice while washing my face or brushing my teeth. Be aware that the bathtub that was in my room was incredibly high, so getting in and out was a little challenging especially with nothing to old onto. If you're taller (I've got short legs), I don't think it will be that difficult. My husband didn't have any issues.
