Pool access from the room is a nice option

It was my wife's birthday, and they provided a bottle of wine for her. Much appreciated.

Cons:

Corridors smell of damp, water damage in bedroom wall from spa outside. Dirty exhaust fans and shower head. TV is not a smart TV, so you can't log into streaming channels or even cast from your phone. See photos for details.

Perfect place to Relax
Pros:

I had a fantastic time at Mantra Aqueous, it was exactly what I was hoping for on a relaxation holiday. The staff were helpful & super friendly, especially Nabi & Olena.
When I got there, they gave me a free upgrade from a single swim out room to a one-bedroom swim-out which was amazing, and they took the time on arrival to give me a map with local restaurants and attractions highlighted which I used to plan every day. I appreciate the print out left next to the welcome card in my room that listed places to get coffee/breakfast/lunch & dinner along with a price guide & listed other things to do in the area. Without this I would not have know about the local yacht club's sunset sails every Wednesday.
The room was very clean, spacious, & had plenty of supplies available including coffee, tea, dishwashing supplies, toiletries, & towels. The pool was lovely & it was a fun novelty to unwind each night in the spa on the deck, the wood privacy screens with the plants create a nice atmosphere.
The fact the hotel is just off the main street meant that most restaurants & shops were within easy walking distance so I didn't have to stress about finding transport between places.
I LOVED my week staying at Mantra & I can't wait until I get a chance to travel up to Port & stay here again

Great experience. Excellent staff, location and amenities.
Pros:

We had a wonderful time at Mantra Aqueous.The rooms are well appointed and spacious. The staff including Donnie, Blake and Nabi went out of their way to accommodate our requests with a smile.
Will definitely come back.

Amazing location in a picturesque town
Pros:

- Location. Everything you need is close by.
- Spa jacuzzi and swim out pool
- Nice smell in the lobby

- Mosquito in the hallway

the rooms were good and walking out the door straight into the pool was excellent
Also very short walk to the main street for eateries and bars

Cons:

when i booked in early October 5 months ago i booked 2 rooms with direct pool access and asked for them to be together
But when we arrived was told couldn't be done in fact had 2 big pools outside our rooms and could not even be put close enough to share the same pool with the other couple took the gloss off what was great accommodation little things make a big difference was very disappointed with this

Love these swim up apartments! Great location close to everything.

Great apartment, love the spa and the swim up.

Cons:

People in room next door were smoking constantly on their balcony which impacted our enjoyment as we couldn't leave our balcony door open without smelling the smoke.

Great accommodation with very friendly and caring staff.
Pros:

The accommodation was clean and appeared to be recently tastefully renovated and great value for the price.
In a good location walking distance to everything.

Enjoyable
Pros:

Peppers brekky 2 for $40 was perfect. Yummy food.

Cons:

A TV in the bedroom would have been good.
Also extended spa times. We wouldn't often get back till late due to enjoying Port douglas, and wouldn't have time to spa. A day spa wasn't often warranted during the day due to the outside temperatures. Night spas with the ambient lighting was so much nicer.
