Perfect location as it is central to everything. If spending a day shopping can easily pop back to your room. Also close to trams and trains. The customer service was exceptional. The rooms were clean and quiet. Beds were very comfy.
They should leave more teabags in the room. Only two of each type (black tea or herbal) and if you both like the same type you only have one cup until they refill.
The doona on the bed was far too hot even with the aircon turned down to 20.

When we got into our room, there was a little cake and bottle of champagne in an ice bucket, as I had mentioned it was my parents’ anniversary - this was a lovely and much appreciated touch. We were also given a room facing Flinders St, with a large bay window. The staff were so helpful, polite and professional in every case. I was able to borrow a phone charger from reception, which was handy. I stayed an extra 2 hours (after being given a late 12pm checkout, thank you) as the hourly price was so reasonable ($25 per extra hour). As we have done quite a few times before we had a meal in the lobby lounge, which is always tasty - we particularly liked the herbaceous salad this time!
This is a first class hotel in a terrific location with outstanding customer service orientated staff. The room was excellent, the bed super comfy and the breakfast buffet a delight!
