Take advantage of this wonderful place for a weekend away!
Pros:

Very comfortable bed, great restaurant with excellent food and well priced, buffet breakfast is fantastic. Handy parking under lodge, beautiful grounds surrounding, lovely for a walk--lots of kangaroos hanging around, and birds, so nice for tourists. Staff all very helpful. Great base to explore Yarra Valley.

Overall, this was our second time booking, and it’s always a lovely stay. We’d happily come back.
Pros:

The room was clean and very comfortable, and breakfast was great! Seeing kangaroos in the garden was such a fun experience, especially for the kids. I also really appreciated that Bella Restaurant had toys and games available during breakfast. It made dining with children much easier and more enjoyable. Plenty of parking spaces too, which was very convenient. Overall, a lovely stay and we’d happily come back!

Cons:

The room didn’t include complimentary drinking water, slippers, a laundry bag, or a teaspoon for making coffee, which would have been nice additions. We had to call room service just to get a teaspoon. Overall, it was still a lovely stay and we’d happily come back.

Beautiful location, great facilities and excellent value for money
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Yarra Valley Lodge. The hotel is located in a truly beautiful setting, right next to a golf course where you can see lots of kangaroos roaming around.

The property is very large, spacious and extremely well maintained. The bar and the Bella restaurant were excellent. We had dinner there and needed to make a reservation in advance, which is definitely recommended. The food and atmosphere were great.

There are also many wineries in the area, all easily reachable within about 15–20 minutes by car, making it a perfect base for exploring the Yarra Valley.

Additionally, you can book hot air balloon rides directly from the hotel, which start early in the morning around 4:00 a.m. For this reason alone, staying overnight here is absolutely worth it.

The breakfast was also very good for a 4-star hotel, with a nice selection and good quality.

Overall, the value for money is excellent. We would highly recommend staying here!
