Beautiful location, great style and interior, helpful staff
Our room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We had a nice closet to accommodate clothes from two of us. The breakfast was convenient and good.
The main problem was construction on a building next door that resulted in noise that made the room too loud to be in for the last day. It wasn't the Relais' fault, but the staff could have been more helpful in finding me a quiet place to work. The outside patio is not very comfortable and sometimes people smoked there, even though they were not supposed to, and that got into our room.
The hotel was in a quiet street but only a few minutes walk to the hustle and bustle of Montmarte. It was like an oasis of calm. The building is very old but beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.
The only thing we didn’t like was the coffee at breakfast.
Staff was warm and friendly, and the room was like a warm bath (literally, too, was able to take a scolding hot bath). Bathroom was a bit dated but all clean and functional. Area is lively and walkable. Absolutely loved my stay here.

Gemütliches, schönes Hotel mit feinem Frühstücksbuffet, sehr sauber, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, Nesspresso-Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer (Kapseln, etc. vorhanden). Sehr bequemes Bett. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen und empfehlen es weiter.

On this, our fourth visit to the hotel, we were once again impressed by the consistently friendly and welcoming staff who always make us feel at home. The breakfast remains a major highlight of the stay, offering a high-quality and enjoyable start to each morning in Paris.
Unfortunately, Room 102 was a significant disappointment as it is exceptionally tiny by any standard, requiring us to turn sideways just to navigate the narrow space on either side of the bed. Since we are traveling for a month with large luggage, the room was almost impossible to manage; we had to keep our suitcases closed and stood upright just to move around, and the cupboards offered very little storage for a five-night stay. Additionally, the plumbing was quite poor, with both the basin and the shower tray clogging and filling to the brim during normal use.
Excellent location near busy landmarks and market streets but on a very quiet side street.
Could not figure out how to have reading light on without all the rest of the lights on (key card needed) - reading lights don’t work separately.
