This hotel is good value for money with friendly & helpful staff.
Pros:

Spacious rooms & comfortable beds. Pool area was good. A comfortable walk into the main esplanade for dinner options. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

Great value for money. Good location close to central Cairns and quick drive to the airport.
Pros:

Pool was fantastic. Kids loved the TVs at the end of each bunk bed! Location was great.

Difficult to find an undercover car park.

The breakfast

Cons:

Aircon started leaking water all over the floor during the night. Water running down the cupboards. We had to turn it off and couldn’t use it. Powerpoints didn’t work, dirt on wall near light switches. All reported to staff at check out.

Pros:

The location is great with a sea view. The staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and tidy.

Cons:

The Bar fridge would have been better with some bottled water and a few snacks to purchase if wanted.
Was disappointed the on site shop was closed as it was open in November on my list visit.

Enjoyed our stay, but wished we stayed closer the the main area
Pros:

Friendly staff, good pick up area for taxi/Ubers. Nice views from the balcony.

Pros:

The room was spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed room service and the bar.
Enjoyed the views.

Cons:

The bathroom was old and there were rusted pipes, there was no fan switch in the bathroom.
The room lights were not all working. The plug points were not all working.

I liked the bar and the staff there a lot, they were great!

Cons:

I didn’t like the hallways outside the rooms there icy cold! I didn’t like the cleaning staff they are lazy and do the bare minimum less than bare minimum! I even got a spray and cloth off one of them to clean one day! I collect my own towels off the trolley! My sister had a fall in her bathroom and the admin staff had no clue how to do an incident report and after 3 days of her asking to see the Manager to no avail she gave up! Such bad service probably the worst place I’ve stayed in ever! Very old and dated
