Loved the view from our room and and found the beds to be extremely comfortable

I think I have covered it. I checked out a day early.
Pros:

The staff were excellent

Cons:

The rooms are dated. Lack of ammenities. No light switch by the bed. No heater. Only one setting for air con. (Either on or off) a blanket was requested and it was like a big towel with no weight in it. Room was cleaned, but all the old towels left in the bath tub.

A wonderful view within walking distance of everything you need.
Pros:

The view, location and pool:) we ate in the restaurant. The different specials each night were good value. The bath was small but we appreciated this anyway. Waking to the spectacular sunrise was a highlight. We walked to the Kuranda Train station.

Cons:

We didn’t have a Smart TV the first night which was a bit disappointing as we rarely get to watch a movie - but they replaced it the following night which was great. Fast response. Tiny gym but adequate for the die hard.

Very average the only thing good about it is it’s quite central

Honeymoon. Brilliant
Pros:

My husband and I stayed at the rydges whilst on our honeymoon . The room more than met our expectations. The staff were outstanding. Very polite always willing to help. The rooms were kept very clean. Food was of a very high quality. Breakfasts were amazing. I will stay there again.
