Nice but probably wouldn’t go back
Pros:

Good location nice breakfast.
Rooms are older style but comfortable

Cons:

This hotel is in need of a makeover. The decking around the pool was lifting. Its old in places. Maintenance doesn’t in some parts of the hotel seem to be a priority. For $330 per night the hotel needs to lift their game.

A pleasant stay in a good location allowing us to enjoy our time in Cairns.

Room was a good size. Location was great for walking around Cairns and for Muddies!

Great location on the esplanade with comfortable rooms.

Disappointing
Pros:

Location was handy for Cairns. Staff were very responsive to our concerns. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Room was dirty and tired. Mattress was stained as were pillows. Room was filthy. Mouldy bathroom. If there had been availability for our stay elsewhere we would have checked out or taken the hit. Staff were very understanding and moved us and checked the new room more thoroughly. It was better but feels like unless you check and ask - you’ll get terrible standards. Hotel is overdue a refurb.

Uitzicht! Fantastische kamer, hoog met zicht op zee.

De sfeer in hotel is niets speciaals. Te duur voor wat het is.
