Very nice and quaint
The property was very clean and well maintained. The food was delicious with a wide choice of dishes to choose from on the menu. The staff were always very polite and helpful. Overall a lovely stay and we would fully recommend it.

The sauna, pool and chakuzee were all brilliant...a laid back atmosphere...tried the Indian restaurant at the hotel and the food was amazing...breakfast was great too...will be staying again 👌

Good choice of breakfast both hot and cold, well presented and tasty.
Evening meal, at the bar, again good choice of meals which were very good (vegetarian options)
Room, was clean and tidy with mod cons.Room, described as a cosy double but was comfortable for one person.

I know it was extreme heat this week however the room was very hot, only a small window, and only a desk top fan was provided.
Mattress was a bit firm for my liking
The hotel was nice and clean and the staff were friendly and the facilities looked good. I didn't end up eating so cannot comment on the food sadly.
My stay was during an unusual heat wave and the room was extremely hot. There was no air conditioning but a oscillating fan was on in the room which was only blowing hot air around. In the corridor outside the room the radiators were emitting heat too which added to the discomfort.
Due to a family emergency i ended up leaving earlier than planned to go home but i was relieved in a way as the room was too hot to rest in. Maybe a better stay would have been in normal weather.

Zwembad is veel kleiner dan de indruk op foto weergegeven... met meer dan 2 zwemmers onmogelijk te zwemmen
The pool was quiet in the mornings. The restaurant is fantastic and has some outdoor seating.
My devices struggled to connect to the wifi and the receptionist was unable to help.

Absolutely everything it’s my favourite place to come it’s peaceful and quiet. I love all of the staff the food is amazing I will definitely be back again.. the restaurant staff are amazing and the waiters so polite and kind they can’t do enough for you ❤️ to the man at the restaurant desk who comes over to serve you and the beautiful kind waitress .. my children absolutely had a great time.. ohh the staff in the leisure centre are also fantastic the man who works on the desk he’s a star really lovely and chatty he’s a ⭐ and the lovely lady with the blond hair honestly you are all amazing and will definitely return ohh and the chef 👨🍳 is amazing also love you fantastic food
Theres noting that I did not like I love it at stone house hotel
The property and facilities were great. It was 530 am when the person above went to the loo and was walking around there room. The noise from flushing the toilet was extremely loud in my room below and the noise of the floor ( cracking boards ) was bad. I’d stay again but not below people. The noise was real bad unfortunately. I stayed in the Trentham suite.
Lovely bedroom and bathroom. Shower was powerful.
Jacuzzi needed a clean
The food wasn't too bad - only positive I have.
Horrendous hotel, don't book! Dirty towels left in room from previous guests. When told they gave us another dirty towel with holes. Staff gave me cleaning products to clean the dirty bath ourselves after they needed fix the bath.
Room door handle and toilet flusher was hanging off. They were never fixed after flagging it and them advising it would be. Dirty shower mat left by the bathroom door too. Looked like it hadn't been clean in a long time.
The assistant manager was especially rude, when raising things they looked like they weren't listening and kept trying to interrupt. Deposit never returned. They insisted we didn't pay the food bill to then find out later they decided to use the deposit to cover this bill without tell us. In the extreme heat, precautions to cool the room hadn't been implemented. No window was open, no curtains closed and no fan out and on. The heating was also left on in the bathroom! When we additionally told them in the morning about the heating, they said that they would get it all sorted for when we came back, to which it was not.
The manager, Tom, at first was great. However, we stayed in this hotel in May and we still haven't got our refund back. They're refusing to give us a full refund and responses have slowed down, then completely stopped. When we email we just get excuses. But still doesn't change the fact that we stayed in the hotel in May and have had to wait for a response from him over 25 days ago.
Shocking customer service, illegal practices in breach of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH), Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and GDPR since we were signed up to a mailing list without our consent being given.
