Bed was two singles pushed together, toilet was loose, lid was broken, shower had a sewage smell, breakfast was poor - a lot of maintenance issues but generally clean and spacious

Stay at Attica 21 Valles, Castellarnau
Pros:

Staff were polite and allowed us and early check in. They even helped with directions and route maps to reach Barcelona city centre easily.

Cons:

The place is really far from the centre of Barcelona city and if you're planning to come back late to this hotel using public transport (bus) (without your own transportation or car), you must come back by 10.30 pm night. No late nights out while here!! We missed the last bus yesterday night and had to walk for 45-50 minutes to reach the hotel (and the roads are really deserted). It was scary.

Hotel housekeeping gives you 2 small bottles of drinking water for your entire stay (whether weeks or months), which is not fair because most of the hotels (small or big) give 2 bottles a day and not for the entire stay.
