Fantastic charming hotel with wonderful staff (skip the free breakfast for better options nearby!)
Pros:

charming, clean, excellent staff, great location with walking options to restaurants and cafes in adjoining properties.

Cons:

well, breakfast was well presented (porcelain plates and cups are a nice touch these days), and it appeared to have many options, but if you look closer, it was 5 varieties of Entenmann's pastries (super high in sugar and fat, plus "that" taste), hard boiled eggs, Folger's coffee, grocery store bagels, packaged toast bread, grapes, sugary cereals. Waffle maker was broken. Zero meat or vegetables. But for the price we stayed, we had plenty of budget to walk one hundred feet to the cute coffee house which had both very elevated sweet and savory breakfast options.

Very nice motel.
Pros:

The location was central to all attractions. The rooms were spacious and clean, beds comfortable.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have breakfast , but just coffee was available with creamer cups. They should at least have milk, since nothing else was provided for coffee.

Charming hotel in a good locale. Great value and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
Pros:

Clean rooms, comfortable beds.

Sitting area near the registration desk was a nice place to relax and enjoy a morning coffee. Tastefully decorated for the autumn season!

Continental breakfast was very good.

Comfortable and clean.
Pros:

Good value for money. The room had everything one can need, including a comfortable bed. Breakfast was varied and decent. Staff were friendly.
Location is great for longwood gardens, and there are a few local businesses off the same car park.

Cons:

The building is starting to need some maintenance.

A warm and friendly place to stay in the scenic Brandywine River area.
Pros:

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had no hot eggs, but there were a variety of danish rolls etc.plus cereal and yogurt.

Cons:

Lack of individual room temperature control. It got pretty cool the two nights I was there (43) and there was no heat.

Great place to stay when visiting Longwood Gardens or Wilmington, DE.
Pros:

The location was just beautiful, far enough back from the major highway running by it to feel like we were in a secluded area. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the facilities and grounds were clean and comfortable.

Cons:

We wish there had been more in the way of non-sweet cereals offered at the continental breakfast; except for Rice Krispies and Cheerios, all of the cereals were sweetened with sugar.

I liked that it was quaint and homey

Cons:

The staff was distant and unprofessional. Playing hard-core rap in the lobby. I like rap but I didn't want that experience at 8 am in the lobby. Wifi was glitch and there wer 4 stink bugs in my room. The towel were haphazardly folded and he'd stringy loose ends. That was odd and disappointing.
