Great value for money
Pros:

Staff were fantastic, really great value for money. Food was also great. Rooms are modern.

Cons:

Only one power output and it was at the desk not near the beds so was a bit of a pain. Also adding smart tvs so you can watch Netflix etc would be great.

No facilities working. No AC on the hottest day of the year. They did email me to say the only thing working was the sauna and the AC wasn’t working but this was the day after my stay. Had no sleep.

The staff were professional and courteous throughout my stay. My room was clean.

Cons:

I was originally intending to travel with my daughter, but changed her mind the last minute. In retrospect, the room would have felt quite crammed.
On inconvenience was the placement of the kettle. There was no nearby power socket where it was positioned, so I had to place it my bedside in order to boil water. I booked this hotel because of the pool. Unfortunately, it wasn't working.

Pros:

I came from Ireland with my guests, and we had a wonderful stay. The reception staff and cleaners were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They kindly arranged our rooms so we could stay next to each other, which was very convenient for us. The breakfast was excellent, and overall I was very satisfied with our experience. Thank you for the great service!

Yvonne on reception was super friendly and helpful. Hotel lovely and clean, with a decent sized bar area. Hotel has plenty of parking and really easy to find.

Fantastic stay!
Pros:

Thank you to Mercure Birmingham West for the hospitality. For what was my first experience with Mercure, the reception staff were very welcoming, especially Yvonne and Gerry who were fantastic on arrival and departure. The rooms were clean and the bar was accommodating for what was a very successful business trip to the West Midlands. Thank you.

Wonderful service
Pros:

Wonderful service and great facilities, with comfortable clean rooms. Reception staff friendly and welcoming especially Gerry and Stefan. Glad I found Anita whose treatment was outstanding and I will be back. Overall atmosphere of hotel is relaxing.
